607 Bay Inn Downtown Beaufort

We were one of three couples attending an adult child's wedding in Beaufort. We arrived Friday and left Sunday. Our experience was sublime. The inn operates on autopilot with ease. There is a night watchman but other than that guests pretty much have the run of the old house which is okay. There are plenty of amenities. It was easy to create our own happy hour on the upstairs porch, for instance, while we watched passersby. There is easy access to mini fridges, sinks, coffee makers and dishwashers. The beds are luxurious. The rooms well appointed. This was a fun weekend. This inn is highly recommended and we will stay there again if another friend's child gets married in Beaufort.

Beautiful historic Inn in downtown Beaufort. Great beds and bedding, great security. Kitchen and coffee/tea on each floor. Owner and staff very kind and informative. You can’t beat this location and Inn for all your needs in Beaufort. This Inn has been completely renovated. It is very modern and comfy while maintaining the historic charm.

Breakfast was a slip for 2 restaurant. We stayed for 4 days but only got 2slips and they where for each of us one meal.

Convenient to dining and shopping. Easy parking at the lodging. Great staff. Secure facilities with state of the art fire protection.

Property is located proximal to the Woods Memorial Bridge which experiences a lot of traffic. The traffic noise is constant, punctuated by vehicles and trucks with very loud exhaust. Although South Carolina has laws about loud exhaust, they’re not enforced. We resorted to wearing earplugs at night. Often conversation on the delightful porch overlooking the lagoon was interrupted by extremely loud motorcycles, pickup trucks, trailers, and other vehicles. The only time it was quiet was when the swing bridge was opened and all traffic ceased.

I liked the code entry system instead of keys.

This is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but it is absolutely not. No breakfast. When this was brought to the owners attention he questioned where I saw that and it is on their website. Not a third party. We were given two coupons to places for barely average breakfast. But also NO coupons for second day. Facility was nice but it is NOT a B&B and furthermore not compensated by owner for HIS mistake.

Sitting on the upper porch, lovely view and relaxing. Great location for walking downtown and riverfront.

Everything good

Loved the house. Rooms are large and clean with a king sized bed on which I slept great. The house is just across the street from downtown Beaufort and the waterfront. Wonderful restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. Easy parking.
