Exceptionally clean and comfortable! Fantastic location for visiting downtown Beaufort!

We didn’t stay, we left because we did not like the room. We felt as though we were being monitored and not able to go in and out as we pleased. The Innkeeper walked around with a print out of all the room keypad access numbers for all to see. The room was very small. There was only one sitting chair like something from a kitchen and a tiny night stand in which we could not place our phones or personal items.

Highly recommend 607 Bay Inn – we thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay and appreciated the opportunity to stay in this historic house that we had admired from the outside on previous day trips to Beaufort. The 3rd floor room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet (no traffic noise that other reviewers complained about) – well worth the extra flight of stairs. We enjoyed sitting on the first floor porch on the evening of our arrival, watching the intermittent traffic flow across the Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady’s Island – and in the morning had our coffee as we sat on the second floor porch with the daylight view of the bridge as we read about the history of the house. There is a lovely landscaped backyard, ample free parking behind the house, a large walk-in shower in our room, access to Keurig coffee maker, snacks, and access to the fridge for keeping travel food from our cooler chilled. The Inn is walking distance to various eating establishments and we appreciated the $8 voucher per person for breakfast at two recommended coffee shops. We have previously stayed at one of the national chain hotels in the area – but staying at 607 Bay Inn was a unique and special experience, and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the area!

We were a group of six and each couple had their own room. We had the loveliest weekend. The staff were so communicative. We arrived early and let them know and they allowed us to get settled in our rooms early. We spent hours on the second floor porch and it is extremely walkable to all of Beaufort. It is our second time staying and it won’t be our last.
