607 Bay Inn Downtown Beaufort

Great location with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. Cozy and welcoming, well maintained historic building.

we had a wonderful stay at 607 Bay. the room was immaculate, the shower had great water pressure, which is important to me. The historic home has been renovated into a really nice inn with great views and breezes on the large porches. The bed was comfy, and we had plenty of coffee and snacks provided by our host. the property is perfectly situated for walking to the waterfront, shopping, and dining. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Beaufort.

We spent our 38th anniversary at the 607 Bay Inn. The hotel is very scenic and the staff very courteous. They made our stay an event to remember!

The building is in good condition and it is located in downtown Beaufort with easy access to shopping and eating. The room and building were clean.

I expected an upscale bed and breakfast. 607 Bay is NOT that. There are absolutely NO amenities. Every space is taken by rooms. The atmosphere is very sterile. In 3 days I only saw a “host” one time for about 15 minutes. Instead of a full gourmet breakfast we were given two coupons for $8.00 to a bagel cafe. For a 3-day visit that cost over $1000 I expected much more. We previously stayed at another downtown B&B for much less and got ever so much more. If all you want is a clean room close to downtown this is expensive but would work. Otherwise go to a real B&B.

Our recent stay at this charming bed and breakfast was a true delight. If you are looking for a peaceful escape with the convenience of downtown at your doorstep, this is the place. One of the highlights was the quiet atmosphere despite being steps from the busting shops, bars and restaurants. The B&B itself felt like a serene oasis. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful piazza, a lovely spot to unwind and soak in the local ambiance. The room itself was exactly as advertised, which is always a welcomed reassurance. The comfy bed assured a restful night's sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. The location truly can't be beat. Stepping out of the door we were moments away from exploring the downtown area, with its variety of shops and great selection of bars and restaurants. This made it incredibly easy to pop out for a meal or do some browsing without having to travel far. Overall we had a wonderful experience. The B&B provides the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this charming town

This cute little hotel was absolutely perfect! Beautiful, well appointed, plenty of private parking, a lovely little shared kitchen area, very nice bathroom, plush bed - I would definitely stay here again if visiting Beaufort. It's right next to everything but very quiet and safe with a lovely view of the water. A gem!

The property was kept very clean. What surprised us was the lack of innkeeper presence while we were there or an interior community space for travelers. The evening we arrived we were met by a very nice gentlemen who showed us around, then never saw anyone again. All we received in lieu of a breakfast served was a one time ticket to go to a local bakery for 1 breakfast. We were there for 3 mornings and received 1 coupon for 1 breakfast. For this reason we feel it should not be advertised under bed & breakfasts.
