I was under the impression that I had booked a certain room but when I got to the hotel I was told we had been upgraded to a double room with more space which was ok but we were looking forward to the view we had chosen. We weren’t able to use some of the kitchen utensils since they were broken. Staff was pretty polite and professional. Even though we did not use any of the amenities we did use the grill that was pretty cool that the hotel offered that.

Highly recommend Level River North! We were upgraded to a 2 Br/2 BA unit. The place was sparkling clean and had all the comforts of home. Super quiet and fantastic views!!! Corner unit on 28th floor. Another plus the pool/hot tub opened (5/16) and they were wonderful. The property is fantastic and Aisha was super helpful, efficient and nice! Balcony was another plus & location was great.

"Very nice! "

Great location. Very nice unit. The front desk was welcoming and accommodating. The only thing that was a bit unnerving was that a woman (let’s call her Karen) was watching me like a hawk when I checked in and then slid something under the door about the rules of the building. Not sure she would have done this with others but I didn’t like the implication. That said, I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. From check-in, the staff were dismissive and at times outright rude. I reported multiple issues—my room’s TV wasn’t working properly (turning on and off with no image), the phone didn’t work, and some lights had no bulbs. Nothing was done to fix it. Later that night, the second TV also stopped working. Only after repeatedly following up did they move me to a new room—at 9 PM. I had to repack everything, including wet clothes from the laundry, disrupting my entire evening. The front desk’s attitude was the most disappointing part. I was met with comments like, “You again,” “We can’t do anything right now,” and “I thought it was just one TV,” making me feel like a burden instead of a guest. The new room was clean, and the hotel itself is beautiful, but none of that makes up for the frustration, lack of professionalism, and lost sleep. It’s unfortunate for the owner—great space, but the staff’s attitude completely ruins the experience.

The hotel itself offered everything needed to celebrate my husband birthday. I must say the front desk could use some customer service training indeed. Respect and decorum goes a long way at the end of the day.

A great option for families or groups with apartment-style, white, sleek modern floorplans. We loved having a balcony and two bathrooms (which I couldn't find evidence of on descriptions of the Junior 2-bedroom suites). You can see in photos that one of the bedrooms is literally the size of the double bed, FYI, but it did the trick. The pull-out couch was actually comfortable! Desk was attentive to sending up the things we requested, but kind of superficially friendly. Where we were quite disappointed was to find out that the beautiful, sparkling pool deck area with hot tub and lounging spaces was CLOSED even though it seemed to be all set-up and the weather was warm. When asked about it, they said perhaps plans to open around Memorial Day -- even though they advertised May 1. This also meant no bocce ball, also found no evidence of bikes. SO, many of the amenities we planned to use were not there yet factored in to why we chose this hotel over another for our group. You could still use the gas firepit areas and grills. There was also a very nice shared lounge area, sauna, and excellent gym with plenty of light and windows. Not a lot of restaurants, valuable stores, etc. right around hotel (except a liquor store). Hope these details helps you plan for your needs.
