The grandeur of the property, its upkeep and super welcoming hospitality

Less of resources. They have a chance of upgrading it to a very fabulous resort but I don’t think they have the resources to do it. room service can be improved a lot. food was strictly average and that brings down the experience. while the taste is not great, their staff is very helpful, accommodating and caring. So I believe it’s a god place, low on resources and an underutilised but very willing team.

for safaris the canter or gypsy usually will pick you from your hotel. this information was not given by Sawāi bagh or our safari booking agent. we ended paying huge amount to travel morning 6.30 in super cold weather to the spot ! I did the booking via reception of Sawāi bagh but the staff did not inform me of any such process ! also I found the pricing to be higher for the stay we got !

The property is very spacious with good greenery. we opted for a private pool suite and the pictures don’t do justice. It is quite spacious and well made. The biggest concern was food - get basic breakfast spread. Did not once enjoy the ala-carte menu as well. Good food in the resort is mandatory in Ranthambore due to minimal options to eat out. They do not serve liquor - but there is no restriction on bringing your own liquor and enjoying in your private space. The staff wasnt bad, nor really great. Most of the staff appeared to be untrained. If you are looking for a place to be hosted well and feel special - leave such thoughts behind. They did not accept Amex.

Only the property was good

Food was awful, there was no cleanliness in the room. Had a terrible time , would never even think of staying again. It was about 20 km away from the city.
