Treetops Hotel

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Treetops Hotel! First thing is that we managed to get an earlier flight from Belize City to Caye Cauker - 2 hours earlier than what we had originally told Treetops - and they did everything possible to have our room ready and a taxi to pick us up when our flight arrived! Things got even better after that! Our room was spotless clean, the A/C worked perfectly (Caye Caulker was experiencing a bad heatwave when we arrived), and checkin took only a few minutes, which was fantastic after a long day of flights!! Audrey was beyond helpful during our stay, answering our many questions and offering places to go and things to do, always with a smile and a pleasant attitude! (She did this during an unexpected heat wave!!) The grounds were always meticulously clean and we had plenty of bottled water! Treetops is also at the quiet end of the caye, which is very nice for relaxing outside and heating the waves crash! Everything we needed was code by (walking distance), and whenever we wanted a ride, we got a taxi to take us where we needed to go for just $10BZ!! If you’re looking for a great, comfortable pace to stay, we highly recommend Treetops Hotel!!! Next time we come to Caye Caulker, we will stay here!!! We stayed at Treetops in the sunrise suite. The room was amazingly comfortable and large. They really have everything you need in there and the patio is huge with the most comfortable chairs for just watching the waves roll in. The staff is amazing here. Audre is so helpful kind and welcoming. She in a matter of minute responded to my questions and have every part of our 3 days on Caye Caulker planned. They even arranged our pickup at the ferry and airport. It was all seamless. I really would love to come back here.

We enjoyed our recent 3-night stay at Treetops. The room was clean & comfortable, and host Audre was very friendly, professional, & responsive in helping us with activity & transportation arrangements as well as restaurant/swimming/etc recommendations. The location is toward the bottom end of the east 'coast' off the island strip of restaurants and hotels, so there's a bit more walking but the use of free bikes for guests worked out great for us. The location also makes for a quiet & restful stay. It was a bit adversely impacted by the massive sargassum washing up this year, but that's no fault of the hotel or their maintenance which was top notch. The rooftop is probably the nicest feature, which allows beautiful views of both sunrise & sunset (both coasts of the island!), and Audre informed they are further updating it to feature hammocks under the shaded awning which should be even more lovely! One small note - although the suite we booked said 'sunset' in the name, a picture within the details of the listing made it appear this was an ocean view suite when in fact it's on the other side of the building. This didn't impact us much because the ocean view suite was unrented so Audre allowed us use of the ocean-facing portion of the balcony, but it's something to be aware of when booking, and the property owners could adjust the photos for that suite to clarify this (as guests wouldn't necessarily know to assume that 'sunset' means non-ocean facing)

Our stay at Treetops Hotel was fantastic! Our room was clean and very comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning with our coffee. The hotel is located within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. Audre was so helpful with suggesting places for us to go to. We can’t wait to go back to Caye Caulker and stay here again!

Audre was super helpful, going above and way beyond getting us set up with tours and taxis and everything we needed. The room was tasteful and spacious. We loved the back balcony. There was always a nice breeze. The AC is not needed but works well and is quite. The place seems newly remodeled. The hotel is perfectly located in that it is close enough to walk into "town" but far enough that its quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was amazing!!! They were so accommodating with our flight changes when they didn’t have to be. The manager, Audre, is so friendly and helpful with excursions. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back.
