Kona Kai Resort and Gallery

Amazing place and atmosphere located just outside Key Largos main area. Short drive 5-10 min or less to great restaurants and activities. However, Kona Kai itself is fantastic; we spent almost two full days enjoying the small beach, lounge chairs, kayaking/paddle boarding, pool and hot tub. The grounds keeping is top notch, making it feel like a tropical air bnb rather than a traditional hotel. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will be visiting again!

Laura called and emailed upon reservation; greeted us with a tour of resort. Recommended great restaurants for lunch and dinner. Accommodated my wife and relocated us to a room where there was no step up to bathroom because my wife had mobility issues. Kona Kai has beautiful grounds and private beach; convenient to restaurants. Courteous and attentive staff. We look forward to our next stay.

We fell in love with the Kona Kai. Between the incredible ladies at the front desk, the gorgeous, tropical landscaping throughout, the sea water pool, access to the turquoise waters of the Gulf…we couldn’t have loved this place more!! The vibe is super relaxed, tropical, Olde Florida, so if you also love that, book this place immediately! We can’t wait to go back already!

An amazing resort for our wedding! Beautiful grounds with a peaceful, serene vibe. Kathryn and all employees went above and beyond to make certain that all guests were happy from check in to check out. We are already talking about returning for our 1st anniversary!! If coming to Key Largo, Kona Kai is definitely the place to stay!

A absolutely stunning place. The staff are lovely and so helpful. You can’t beat a sunset here. Plenty to keep you busy with canoeing and paddle boarding. You might even get lucky enough to get to see a manatee. We will definitely be back.

Key Largo The resort was beautifully landscaped. Plenty of seating areas to lounge, sit or use hammock to view beautiful scenery. Manager was very pleasant and accommodating. A great value! If ever going to Key Largo again I will definitely stay there

the Staff and Managers at Knoa Kia are exceptional. The “old florida feel” of this place is beyond words! Such a natural and laid back place to enjoy water and sunrises and sunsets ohh and Yoga!!

Beautiful place in Key Largo! We stayed April 16th-18th in a King Mango room. Quiet adults only accommodation. They have a pool, a small beach & places to watch the sunset… Lovely botanical garden setting!

Solo retreat that was just perfect. The only problem it was not long enough. Already booked my next trip for 10 days. The kindness during my stay was special. 5 star hospitality 🥰
