ENTIRE Lovely Scottish Cottage

This cottage was very cosy and comfortable. It had great heating and was well stocked with appliances. It also had a few extras like tea/coffee/cereal, the small things that make a big difference especially when you first arrive. It has a modern design which was a nice touch especially staying in an area which is quite old/historic.

The shower had poor water pressure which makes a difference especially after staying for 11 nights.

Great sized apartment. Decent internet. New TV with all the apps.

Uncomfortable bed. Ironing board but no iron. Rough street.

no answer from the host regarding switching on heating in the cottage. tried to contact and got enquiry but not successful at all

Sink was not draining

We had a lovely stay at this property. It was everything we needed for a short break to visit Family.

The cottage was perfect for us, we were visiting family who live in the next street. It was perfectly setup for two of us, and the kitchen was well equipped. Some of the decor is a little rustic, but in keeping with the style of the property. It was a little bit of a surprise that the bedroom was two single beds pushed together with a gap in between the two, but a carefully stuffed blanked helped to close the gap. The lounge area was comfortable and the Smart TV was a good feature, allowing us to watch on demand TV like at home. The little touches were lovely; a bottle of fizz, tea, coffee & even cornflakes. We’ve already booked our next stay. The lockbox access is really useful for us as we travelled up from England in the evening, arriving at 10pm, so there was no stress about checking in.

Very clean, all essentials provided. Generously heated.

We liked everything, although it's a ground floor flat (not an entire cottage). Just a few suggestions to make it even better, eg a washing up bowl would be useful as the butler sink is huge and not very practical. We also found it difficult to turn off the heating. A shelf in the bathroom would be good for toiletries and the mirror is hung too high.
