so where do I start? The photos are totally misleading. We had a king room and although the treatment on the wall was kind of cool it was peeling off and that looked really messy. There’s also no table in there meaning that white table in the picture that’s not in there. There’s a tiny 5 inch table over near a chair that no one could really sit in because it’s bamboo rocking chair so there’s no place to sit and have a cup of coffee, theres no couch and there’s no bureau in the room so there’s no place to put your clothes there’s like an open cubby area that’s made of wood with hangers. Refrigerator was like for just a few things very tiny and no coffee maker. There is no grab bars anywhere and no treatment on the bottom of this brand new shiny tub and I almost fell in the tub trying to get in to take a shower. I wouldn’t even suggest anyone elderly staying here. There’s no one in the office or in the front after 8 o’clock there’s also no phones in the room so you can’t call down to tell the front desk that the sound is unbelievable in the place you can hear the TV on either side of you, and on top of you. So the walls are like newspaper. A/C is loud as hell but if it’s not on its hot. TV was horrible, low on the wall and There’s no instructions you have two clickers but they’re connected to a Samsung guide of some sort and we couldn’t find any good stations. Everything was pay movies or it was just really difficult.. Giving the place a #1 would never recommend this place!!!

Cute re-do! Bed not so comfy and could use more hooks and places to put things…but well-designed room otherwise, helpful staff if not especially friendly, and clean, quiet and accessible. I enjoyed it and I’m picky!!

Upon checking in when asking where the beach is located the front desk assistant couldn’t tell me. I was lucky to engage with another guest who gave me all the information I was seeking. Additional questions I had also could not be answered. I think it would be helpful to train employees about the local area then have them say they don’t know or they are unsure. The next part of the/my problem was the room, it was beyond musty and overall smelly. I understand the rooms are pet friendly however the floors were very dirty as was the carpet runner. The bathrooms looked updated and very clean the little kitchen area in the room was also very clean. There weren’t any garbage receptacles on the back end of the property or by the vending machines so there was garbage piled up daily. I didn’t use housekeeping services however whenever I spoke to the ladies they were very helpful and super friendly. Overall, it appears to me as a management issue and I hope they improve upon it cause it’s a really cute location with potential. I will add there is a lovely spot two blocks away if you’re hungry, called the wee packet Inn. I did ask the front desk for a food recommendation but it required a car.

It’s very friendly and welcoming to people with pets. Pool is great and location is perfect for walking everywhere!

First of all, our check-in was a nightmare. The person never looked up or even acknowledged us until I actually asked for help. I had called BlueBird back in early May and was very specific on the room and location that we wanted ( overlooking the pool area). They actually said ‘no problem’. Instead we were given the worst room on the property. Room 49 with a spectacular view of the parking lot….yes, the parking lot. The coupon that we got from our last visit for $30 really threw her for a loop. When we checked out, we found out that instead of subtracting the amount, she ADDED it to the bill. Unbelievable. How was this person even allowed to welcome guests. The rooms are nice but the shower situation remains an accident waiting to happen. No hand bars or shower mats. So dangerous. Also, no hooks to hang towels anywhere. We went to Ocean Lot and bought some hooks. The grounds are nice ( especially the pool area) until the sun goes down. The place is pitch dark. Trying to walk around is taking your life in your hands. There is no spotlight on the BlueBird sign near the road, so we passed it three times. Hello… the solar lights don’t work). To drive your car to the back parking lot ( the globe side lights are all out) is treacherous. God help anyone walking around. I hope management listens because it’s a great location with much potential.
