L'accueil et le bar. La petite terrasse. Le quartier calme.

Chambre très petite (nous n'avions pas la possibilité d'ouvrir la valise... nous l'avons glissée sous le lit). Selon où est situé la chambre cela peut être bruyant (machine à glaçons). Les chambres sont humides.... Les serviettes méritent d'être renouvelées.

Located in a quiet residential area away from the downtown hustle and bustle, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat complemented by an incredibly polite and helpful staff at the bar/coffee shop/reception. It was a sincere pleasure speaking with them throughout my stay. The rooms are well-appointed with complimentary water, tea, and coffee, and the Shangri-La toiletries in the shower smell fantastic. While the large beds are very comfortable, the mattresses were a bit soft for my personal taste, though the abundance of pillows was appreciated. If I could make one suggestion for an even better experience, it would be to provide a variety of pillow thicknesses, such as a set of two thick and two thin options. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in New Orleans, especially for another one of those incredible Espresso Martinis—the woman behind the bar made the best one I have had in a very long time. Thank you!
