Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis

I stayed at the 4S MSP for three nights (Fri-Mon) and had an enjoyable stay, but felt like it fell short of 4S service standards. When I arrived Friday night at around 9:30pm, the driveway was packed with cars, and there was a bit of a wait to be let out. Upon arrival, there was no bellman, no doorman, and a short wait to check-in. I was offered Champagne upon check-in, but was given about 2 oz of Champagne. When check-in was complete, I asked for more and received another 2oz. Felt cheap. This was the norm for the rest of the stay from a service perspective; indifferent front desk staff, missing doormen, and a constant traffic jam in the driveway. It felt very chaotic and impersonal - I feel like 4S usually has a much higher service standard, and it is sad to see it doesn't exist at this hotel. Like one of the doorman (when present and visible) just ignored me every time I said hello and thank you - so bizarre. Or you'd like by the front desk on your way out and no one would say hi or bye. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and I have no feedback to share on the property or the room - great use of space, great tech; everything exceeded my expectations. I received consistent twice daily housekeeping, and was always brought extra coffee pods, waters, etc., during both services. I appreciated the HUGE walk-in shower and Le Labo bath products. Food and beverage ranged from average to good. I ordered room service breakfast two mornings, and the food was always delivered ahead of schedule. I thought the quality of the room service breakfast was also quite good. I did the Sunday breakfast buffet (on Sunday of course...) and found the experience to be a bit underwhelming. The food was mostly fine, but the sweet items were all overly sweet, very cheap and low quality baked goods. I was also surprised with the hefty price tag that at least coffee and juices were not included. The buffet felt more like a regular hotel breakfast buffet as opposed to a special once per week BRUNCH buffet (in fact about 90% of what was offered was breakfast food). I also received good service at the Mara bar one night - the drinks were yummy. I did not partake in any other amenities at the hotel, but I did poke around on level 4 (the "fun" floor) and thought the gym and pool facilities were very nice.

Y'all did great til the last check-out and valet service messed up. what type of mattresses do you use? I loved your mattress.

From the minute we arrived it was a 5 star experience. The valet immediately sprang into action and gave us all the info we needed. At check-in we were immediately offered water in eco-friendly containers. We were also upgraded to a stadium suite (due to our wedding anniversary) with views of both stadiums for the Vikings and the Twins. We were then brought a complimentary bottle of champagne which was an unexpected surprise. We were offered turn down service which we declined as we had a late dinner reservation. And then we had a lovely breakfast the next morning and check out was a breeze with only a couple minutes wait for our vehicle. Easily the best stay in Minneapolis we have had.

Not worth the price! I have stayed at multiple Four Seasons and this was the worst. So many negatives . From not bring served promptly compared to the other tables around us , To having my drink spilt on me and my food. The pool is great! But the service is lacking ! Oh and park your car somewhere else, $65.00 to valet. I booked this with my platinum American Express because of a few extra perks . Unfortunately not worth it .

The Sunday brunch is exceptional. Wonderful property and staff.

Best hotel ever! Everyone that works there is angelic! And the beds and pillows and views and pool and gym…. I could go on. But the help there is even better- like seriously!!!! Only thing to keep in mind is to get to the pool kinda early if u want a chair. Otherwise there’s a waitlist. Worth it though!
