Sonder The Schaeffer

We stayed for 4 nights in the 3 bedroom 2 bath. The location is excellent, just a 2 minute walk to bourbon street. The Apartment was great, fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed, comfortable beds, nice showers. A cute little coffe shop/ bar in the lobby with super nice staff. We were on the 1st floor which has one tiny window facing a building so our apartment got no light, if that is an issue for you I would request a different floor. The only thing that i would change would be the pool hours. Its closes at 8pm, it was still 97° degrees out at 10pm so the kids really wanted to cool off in the pool . There is no parking , we parked right across the street in a parking garage which was very expensive. A discount for hotel guests would be great but other than that we were very happy with our stay and would return.

Gute Lage, direkt am French Quarter, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Bourbon Street, modernes Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei schönen Badezimmer und voll ausgestatteter Küche, Rooftop-Terrasse mit kleinem Pool/eher Hottub, Bar im Erdgeschoss vorhanden, diverse kostenpflichtige Parkplätze oder Parkhäuser in unmittelbarer Nähe, online am besten vorreservieren und bezahlen

Die beiden Schlafzimmer waren ohne Fenster, wenn man die Tür geschlossen hatte, wirkte es sehr beklemmend, beide SZ hatten keinen Schrank, nur ein paar Bügel und Wandhaken und waren so klein, dass es unmöglich war, einen großen Koffer auf dem Fußboden zu öffnen, extrem laute Klima-und Lüftungsanlage, Ausschalten zwar manuell möglich, aber aufgrund der kleinen und fensterlosen SZ nicht zu empfehlen.....

the shower curtain was too short…1 of the rooms did not have a door knob…there were also issues accessing the locks, both to the property and the actual room

Likes - really clean and updated. Dislikes - bar downstairs was ill equipped, TV didn't connect to WiFi.

I loved location and the apartment! Beds were super comfy!!

The pool.... it closes too early abd it was more like a tub to sit in

The apartment was humid and smelled of mold, bedsheets were almost wet every night, the beds were too soft, very uncomfortable, the 2 bathrooms too small for a 3 bedrooms apartment

The Sonder property was a descent stay but probably would not be going back. The room had not been cleaned very well. There were items left from people who previously had stayed. We had a leak in master bath. Had to wait for maintenance to come because they did not have a safe in the room so didn’t feel comfortable allowing others in there while we were out. The “fix” for the leak was to caulk the area. This made it worse and by the next morning there was a lot more water all over master bath floor. Then the AC went out and it was extremely hot to sleep. Although they did allow us to switch room, it was an inconvenience to switch and give up time during our vacation to re pack. Move and unpack again. The bar was also not always open when it was supposed to be. The pool did not seem very clean the first couple of days and the was closed on our last day there when we had planned on laying out. Overall the stay was “ok” but would not go back there for another visit

Great location just across the street from the French Quarter walkable to everything
