Swallow Cottage

Our stay at Swallow Cottage was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the personal touches throughout made it feel just like home. The hosts left a welcome basket in the cottage and even logs for the fire. We hope to stay again soon.

Nothing! We had a wonderful stay here.

Well, I do not know where to start! We had excellent communication with Gail the owner prior to arriving. We go to the cottage and were immediately impressed with the lovely location and the surrounding countryside which is a stone's throw from the town of Ripon. the cottage was immaculate and beautiful. We took our two dogs (big dogs) who loved it as much as we did! there is an enclosed field behind the cottage for the dogs to have some exercise and the farm itself was very safe. The cottage had an LP player and a collection of LPs that I enjoyed looking through and playing. the kitchen had everything we needed. I slept like a baby all three nights(I don’t sleep well so this is good!). Gail dealt with all queries quickly and even brought us some more wood for the beautiful log burner at nighttime. Thank you Gail and family for a lovely relaxing stay and we are already planning to come back!

I cannot actually think of anything that i would suggest to improve the stay that we had? A very good experience overall

Great communication with the host and her mum. The cottage was warm, very clean, beautifully furnished and with ABSOLUTELY everything you could think of! Just a 5 minute drive into Ripon. Set on a peaceful horse farm. Wonderful basket of goodies and fresh flowers too!

Good Location, Friendly Host.

The Lack of flush power on the loo!

Great location , just 3 miles from Ripon. Cottage excellently decorated . Everything very accessible for my husband who has reduced mobility. We will definitely be returning . Cottage has a peaceful rural location but is very close to Ripon full of things to do

Lovely cosy cottage with log burner. Very welcoming pack and wine on arrival. Our Spaniel loved it too! A real treat!

Beautiful cottage, all the facilities we needed, lovely owner, lots of treats left, dog field just behind was very handy.

The only thing I could say is the mattress wasn't very comfortable, could do with a mattress topper, only small gripe but would make all the difference.
