Swallow Cottage

A lot of thought and care had been put in every aspect, way beyond reasonable expectation.

Everything was just great we had such a lovely stay. Immaculately clean, very comfortable and all you could ask for with such kind extras provided. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Lovely location within easy access of the Ripon Rowel walk which we had gone to walk/run The house was great, with a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and comfortable accommodation. The owners were friendly, helpful and communication was good. A lovely welcome basket supplemented our supplies.

Very comfortable, warm, spacious, dog friendly, decent shower, loved the record player and vintage records, well-appointed and peaceful.

The decor, facilities and attention to detail

Slightly firm bed but rest of the stay was exceptional!

What a gem. So peaceful but close to Ripon town centre. Lovely countryside around. Super clean and very well equipped accommodation throughout. An added bonus of the secure dog field on site to use, our dogs had a blast.

It was perfect.

The location was great for visiting Fountains Abbey and Studley Park. The cottage contained everything we needed and more. Gail was an excellent host, answering messages very quickly and allowing us to stay when we booked the day we were arriving there.

Swallow Cottage is so lovely, peaceful and cosy, it feels like a home away from home. We stayed over Christmas and there were lots of lovely festive touches, and some special treats for our arrival! I loved that there was a secure paddock for dogs. The host was really friendly, relaxed and thoughtful too.
