The Oak & Anchor Hotel

Location was great - walking distance to just about everything. Towels and bedding were exceptional.

The room we stayed in was quite large and clean. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The room had a large walk in shower with a separate standalone tub. Robes were provided. Provided toiletries were very nice and smelled amazing. The location was nice as well - close to walk to anywhere in Port Fairy. The included breakfast was at a cafe down the road, and we were able to get two sandwiches and coffees within the allowed credit amount.

The toilet was not enclosed and was just in the middle of the room which was an interesting design choice!

The way the room is designed with a open bathroom toilet it is not very private.

Bathroom in room not private, bond of $155, which can take a week to cancel off credit card. Not being told at checking that if we did not put make room sign out our room would not be serviced. Which ours was not service. Very disappointd as we paid alot for the room

Discussing pre made sandwiches what has happened to the fully cooked breakfast please chose another cafe that is deserving of of your business we had to choose day old muffins “ please “

The breakfast and no lift it took my wife who has an impairment 10 minutes to climb the old stairs and your staff are not the friendliest people I have dealt with and there was a sign on the gate for disabled parking in side than one of your not so friendly staff told us we couldn’t park in side because it was a fire hazard Ive never heard such rubbish considering she was the one earlier in the day saying we could park there

It was spacious, clean and well equiped.

The open plan design which didn’t allow any privacy when using the bathroom, and the banging noise and other sounds that came from below. Our room was above the bar and restaurant, which has trading hours from 2.00pm.
