Element Colorado Springs Downtown

Everything was awesome except the noise level from the racing cars on the street at night. Breakfast free had made to order eggs/omelets pancakes or French toast

We are so excited to return to the Element hotel in Colorado Springs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Asia and Lika! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We love the bathroom with its large shower. It's great to get a hot fresh breakfast. It's very relaxing to take the elevator up to the 8th floor to enjoy Lumen8. A restaurant and bar. It has roof top views of the front range.

All was great but noise from Tejon street was a nuisance.

But, the worse lighting I have ever had in a hotel. Don't know if it's just the room we had or they are all that way. If they fixed the lighting I would stay here again. Pro's: - modern new (2 yrs) - very clean - beds comfy - we had a very large room I would call a studio style: two queen beds, kitchen area, nice large bath (well lit), a large L shaped sofa, two TVs, some work areas. - good breakfast including made to order specials and an automatic espresso machine - decent gym and pool - parking in well lit garage under hotel with easy in/out Con's: - The lighting in the sitting area isn't bad, it is non existent - the sitting area has no lighting at all. - The light between the two beds is comical. The head boards have are curved on the side blocking most of the light from the fixture in between.Mi - a bit of a wait to check in - only one clerk on duty Note: The building is occupied by two Marriott brands: Element and SpringHill Suites. They have separate entrances, lobbies, elevators, and breakfast areas. They share the garage, an interior courtyard, and every floor. Roughly half of each floor is Element and the rest SpringHill.

Cars and motorcycles revving down the street make it annoying in the afternoon and impossibly to get a good nights sleep. You would think that with the 9 additional taxes and fees added to your bill they could get the city to control the streets. The TV channels constantly break up. The fridge freezes up things and the door opens the wrong way. AC was either too cold or too hot, blasting on your bed. The online app bill did not match the hotel bill. For a Marriott, not up to par. The staff were nice.

Absolutely loved The Element. Modern. Beautiful. Elev8 bar and restaurant was amazing. Food fantastic. Views and outdoor open air patio that faces the mountains had fireplaces was second to none. Order the Race 2 The Clouds cocktail. It was perfect. Very romantic and easy walk to downtown restaurants
