Rio Motel and Suites Wildwood Beach & Boardwalk

We DIDN'T STAY. THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE BOTTOM MATTRESS COVER. I went to office. She gave us another room. When putting away some snacks I opened the cupboard and the glasses were all dirty. I then saw a roach ! I lifted the shelf liner to see if there were more and it was filled with roach poop! We immediately left i was so upset I didn't take pictures. I do have one of the blood. Manager would NOT give us a refund because we already checked in! She dod say she would refund our 2nd night. I haven't gotten an email yet.!

We did not stay there. We want a refund. It was a frightening experience. It ruined our whole weekend.

Checked in, which was our first mistake. The room had a strong Lysol odor. The bed had what looked like blood stains. Reported to management. They changed our room. This room looked much better but when I opened the closet to put snacks in a roach ran. I lifted the shelf liner and it was full of what looked like coffee grounds! I looked up roach poop and that was the exact description! Went to management again and told her we can't stay here. We want a refund. She said I can't refund you because you already checked in!! I've had so much anxiety over this i can't sleep. We left she said she would give us the 2nd night back. I've yet to receive and email that she refunded us. DO NOT STAY HERE. The room was $463. For 2 night in off season. Oh the 2 burner stove was crusted with food and the glass ware was not clean either. Total dump. She offered to have the room cleaned. I said that won't get rid of roaches. Also isn't the room supposed to be clean when you check in ???

Location was great! Ocean Ave, directly across from the beginning of the boardwalk. Sat on the porch and people watched it was a nice time. Amenities were as advertised.

The place is dated, the electrical system needs rewiring we had to find the circuit breaker a few times because multiple window units going at once made the fuse blow. There's also black mold in the bathroom that was painted over but it started peaking through and causing sinus problems. They did say they were renovating off season so hopefully that fixes the negative aspects of the place but I'm also hoping the consumer doesn't have to pay for the renovations by them hiking up the cost to stay.

Close to the beach

No office, no housekeeping, small tight parking area, nothing else other than your room

Broken microwave. There is no remote for the air conditioning. They didn't even know they rented the room for me because all of a sudden, people with new set of keys just entered the room when I was literally naked

The room with dust also air conditioning. the floor was very dirty, the water pressure is in the shower is very low.

Exceeded my expectations for an economy room near the boardwalk. No frills but clean, comfortable, and across the street from the boardwalk. Even had a parking space available
