Bardstown Motor Lodge

Anniversary trip for 2 days. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the bernheim trail of giants. Very nice place to stay an not to pricey.

Mallory at the front desk was awesome and sweet. You do get a discount if eating/drinking at Toogie’s Table next door. We opted to walk into their historic downtown and swing into Chicken Cock Distillery (they have tastings and also sell tin tackers), went to NEAT for another bourbon before eating at the historic Talbot’s Tavern. So the motor lodge was the perfect location for a wonderful evening. Room has a Keurig so bring a K-cup if you are particular. Next morning was easy short drive to Heaven Hill and Willet. So plan your Bourbon Trail and stay at the Bardstown Motor Lodge.

Would liked a bigger kitchen area

Loved the pool. Location was great.

Need black out curtains as there is a lot of light coming in from the front window

First time to stay here. Very convenient location. Enjoyed meeting people around the fire pits at night. Will definitely stay here again.

Kamryn at the front desk was amazing she was so much help with finding restaurants close by and all the bourbon trails around. She even made sure we got s'mores after she lit the fires! The pool was heated and super clean! Malary was wonderful the next morning with housekeeping she gave us wonderful stay over service! We stayed 3 nights. We had a king suite with the back opening to the fire pit and pool area.
