Such a great hip place

The hotel was great! We loved the fully stock kitchen, adorable interior design and it was very spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy clean place to stay.

It's like staying at at your friend's super-clean, green loft. The ins & outs are all electronic -- a whiff of hipster lockdown. After dark, the muslin curtains are not private (if that sort of thing bothers you.) I love the scene from the bed: NOT A TV!! Good coffee to brew but no milk in the fridge.

Excellent communication from the owners, from the easy to understand instructions to enter the hotel to the details of storing luggage. Wonderful location, we walked EVERYWHERE and felt very safe doing so. The room had everything we needed. Want to save money and cook your meals? This is the PERFECT place to do it. Bathroom was large, bed was comfy, large closet, plenty of outlets. The price is more than fair! We didn't have a car, so I can't speak to any details regarding that.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend at Kestrel Hotel and had a pleasant time! The room was very clean and peaceful. And the interior decorating was on point! very modern and chic. We loved how Dan and Chris were very responsive, when it came to answering any questions regarding our stay. And really appreciated the emails we received to let us know how to check in, even how to turn on the air, and check out procedures. Rating this 5 stars because we really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again!

Dan and Chris deserve a medal for the way they run Kestrel; I'm a healthcare worker who was recently under contract for 6 mo. to work in Philadelphia. They worked with me in an incredibly down-to-earth way and we set up a long-term stay very easily through their website. During the middle of my contract, COVID-19 hit and I was pulled back to the epicenter (NY/CT area) to help. Despite having committed to staying the entire 6 mo and despite Kestrel having a huge decrease in occupancy due to the pandemic, they completely relieved me of financial obligation for that time! To be clear, I literally had to up and leave in the middle of the night - I even left stuff there to be retrieved after travel bans were lifted. They said 'no worries' and kept my stuff safe! After travel was allowed again, I returned and picked up my reservation/lease as seamlessly as I had started. Short story - not only do these guys have a beautiful building with very comfortable rooms and a seamless customer service setup, they're truly good people who deserve a TON of credit for conducting their business in the way they do.

We stayed at the kestrel hotel for a conference and it was an absolute pleasure. Location was right downtown near all the attractions we wanted to see during out time away from the conference. Most everything was in short walking distance or at most a few minute uber ride. The small details and stylish amenities were perfect, Would recommend!

We stayed for a long weekend with extended family. We actually occupied 5 units, including 1 studio and 4 loft style. The kitchens are full kitchens, not kitchenettes, and even have locally roasted coffee for your pleasure.Clean, new, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Walkable to Reading Terminal Market, Convention Center, City Hall, and the Center City fun! Plenty of room, great location, reasonable price.
