Best Western Plus Amarillo East Hotel

The hotel was not as clean as we are comfortable with. Shower did not appear to be thoroughly clean and the pillows were not even full sized pillows but rather small lumps of stuffing.

Nice hotel

We had 18 people in 5 rooms and everything was flawless. Would highly recommend.

Checked in and got my key within minutes. Room was clean and no issues.

Nice place

This is a great location--on the outskirts of town, and literally a stone's throw from I40. Despite that proximity, the room was very quiet.

We were never told we could not leave our small dog in room in her cage. When we went out I got a text saying we had to go pick her up or they would call animal control to remove our dog. We have stayed in a lot of hotels, this is the first one who did that. I was also charged for a water and a Pepsi to my room. I had bought 2 waters at different times but had paid cash for them. The manager didn’t seem to really care to find out who had charged them to my room, just that they had to be paid. So I will never stay at that location again.

This was the nicest hotel on our cross-country trip, very new looking (clean and well maintained). The staff were very nice at both check-in and checkout. The room was large and comfy, nice rain shower, large vanity. The hot tub and area were also very nice. The hotel is dog friendly, $30 pet fee. There were a couple of nice areas to walk a dog. The complimentary breakfast was far above average
