Shore House at The Del, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Went to Shore House personally to make a reservation for a friend. Denison was extraordinarily helpful in getting me the room and rate we wanted. Well done.

Shore house is the best place to stay at the Del! The rooms and pool are amazing and the staff is sooo kind! Great place for families and kids! Jason W is so helpful and Natalie in the restaurant is the sweetest, but we love everyone!

The team at the shore house were incredible. Every time we’re at the Hotel Del Coronado, the service is above and beyond anything we experienced anywhere else we travel. We are frequent travelers around the globe and we always love coming back to San Diego and visiting the Del. We have our annual gala here and it’s always so wonderful to be met with courteous individuals who love doing their work.

The rooms were new and spacious at the Shore House, but the highlight was the extraordinary service by Laila at the front desk. Our reservation was through a 3rd party and was cancelled accidentally. She worked tirelessly to get us a room. It was my Dad’s 80th and she helped save the day!

Our family had a wonderful time. The room was perfect and the staff from Kim that checked us in and out to Veronica that cleaned our room went above and beyond any expectations. We felt at home and enjoyed the tranquility of being close to the beach, using the pool and fitness center.

From start to finish, our stay at the LXR Shore House was outstanding. The property itself is absolutely stunning — luxurious, beautifully maintained, and has that perfect blend of sophistication and fun without ever feeling over the top. We had a few hiccups at the beginning — our first ocean view room had a carbon monoxide alarm issue, and the second room we moved into wasn’t as impressive. However, as Hilton Gold members, the team quickly upgraded us to a spectacular suite with both a street and Bay view. The room was huge and beautifully appointed, and once we settled in, it was smooth sailing from there. Special shoutout to Jason Williams, the Bowmen/Valet, who was absolutely incredible. He’s the guy who truly made our experience memorable — he hooked us up, gave us the lay of the land, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Jason is the man! Kim at the front desk was also fantastic — warm, professional, and genuinely caring — and Becca was wonderful as well. They both took such great care of us and made sure everything was right after our room change. The food across the property was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was just what we were looking for — upscale yet relaxed. I had read a few mixed reviews before coming, but our experience couldn’t have been better. Everything from the staff to the accommodations exceeded expectations. Five stars out of five — I’d come back here ten out of ten times. Highly recommend the LXR Shore House, and if you go, make sure to say hi to Jason, Kim, and Becca — they’re the best!

Stayed for the second time this year at the Shore House with wife and twin 6 yr old daughters. We love this place. It’s family friendly with a great pool and proximity to the beach. Plenty of food options for the kids, either at the resort or a short distance away. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and engaging. Hat tip to Isaac for nightly golf cart rides to and from dinner. It was the highlight of the trip for our girls!

Had the pleasure of visiting hotel del and stayed at shore house for my sister in laws wedding. We got a 2 bedroom villa in shore house which was gorgeous. But the real star of the show was Jason W in valet. He went above and beyond any chance he got which really helped change this from a good experience to an amazing experience. We will definitely be back soon.

Phenomenal stay with exceedingly helpful and kind staff. The rooms were great, spacious, and functioned like an apartment away from home. I was travelling for business and had my wife and 3 month old - the staff were wonderful and Dennis even went out of their way to facilitate a late checkout so that we could relax with our infant before heading to the airport. Unexpected and appreciated way to end our trip vs heading to the airport early. Food and drinks at shore house were great and the nearby restaurants on the Coronado were good too. Breakfast is pricey but tasty. Recommend checking out shout house duelling piano’s for a night out. 10/10
