Sun Valley Inn

Very quaint.

It’s a quaint little motor court motel from, I’d say, 40’s or 50’s if I had to guess, but it’s clean and in good repair. Good location for my needs. The area feels safe to walk around. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. The rooms have been recently renovated, walls, floors and bathroom are clean and nicely done. The furniture is dated but it works. Nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave. There are no closets in either of the rooms I’ve stayed in, only one had a rack for hanging clothes. The Wi-Fi is good when it works, I experienced a lack of service one evening of my stay but that’s not too important for me. It would be a problem if I had to rely on it. I’ve stayed here twice already and it’s become my go-to place to stay while I work in the area.

I liked pretty much everything.. except towels

the staff was very friendly and accommodating! close to where I needed to be. I felt safe

No house keeping until I left, Mininum toiletries, no lamps at bed side although they supplied at my request

Road noise was a little loud. Bed was OK. Everything was very clean and updated except for the bed. We would stay again

Curtains were stained, hairs on pillows and sheets, bathroom toilet had a dirt ring, the smell of air spray was overwhelming.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. When I showed up for my room that had been reserved and paid for with Expedia, I was told that they had no rooms available. It took awhile but she begrudgingly gave us a room in the back row with the long term rentals. The two guys in the room next to us where up all night talking loud. Also, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. i would never stay there again.
