The bed was really comfortable and clean. The room generally was nice and tidy and rustic.

The bathtub was filthy , you could see a layer of dirt around the rim of the tub and the base. When Getting access to the rooms , the stairs were filthy. To be expected I guess but still a little off putting when paying over £211.50 for an overnight stay. The room was directly over the entrance which was noisy. When arriving to the pub , we had booked for tea with hopes to try the bar menu. The young man greeted us was lovely but we were literally stood about for ages waiting for the manager to see if the kitchen would allow us to try the normal menu ! We were offered two choices which neither of us liked. We had booked a meal with the intention of dining for evening meal off the bar menu and then using the room afterwards. Unfortunately as soon as we got there it started off negatively which completely put us off. We were only able to have the special menu which neither of us liked and hadn’t originally booked for.

Room was beautiful,clean and spacious. Shower was amazing and the bed was so comfy. Really well equipped. Breakfast was probably the best full English I’ve ever had!

Had to ask for towels however it was just a minor housekeeping glitch

Situated in a quiet village, the accommodation was very comfortable and the food unsurpassed. Thank you to all the staff for making our anniversary so special.

Friendly atmosphere, high standard room, lovely location.

Unfortunately no milk left in the fridge but otherwise everything was lovely.

Everyone was so welcoming, it had a lovely atmosphere. Lovely room which had everything I needed. I had an evening meal in the restaurant, the food was delicious and presented beautifully. Plenty of options for breakfast too. I would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thank you everyone.

The breakfast was excellent . We had an evening meal on the first night , it wasn’t up to the standard I thought it would be for the price we paid.

The wi-fi was not working in our room and we could not get the main channels on the TV.
