We had an amazing stay at this lovely pub, very welcoming & full of character. The rooms were well appointed, very warm & comfortable beds. The food was absolutely delicious, we treated ourselves to the Taster Menu, which was quite the experience! The food was delicious, it was hard to chose a favourite! Our waiter was very attentive and explained each course in detail. The ambiance was perfect for a special evening out, followed by a chance to relax in the bar area & time to play cards.

It is hard to find any fault, the only thing would be the breakfast timings are quite late, 9:30am onwards, but we were accommodated with an earlier sitting, which we appreciated.

Village location, tasteful room decor. All the staff were first class. The restaurant is the jewel in the crown, outstanding food!

Noisy floorboard in the bedroom a little annoying. No-one around when we left in the morning. It's a shame breakfast was only served at 9.30am as we had to be head off earlier than that.

Lovely staff, food was excellent (truly extraordinary) great location and surrounding walks, comfortable accommodation.
