Casa Polanco Hotel Boutique

One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in. Felt like staying at a whimsical, wealthy aunt's house where everything is perfect. Staff that treat you like family and invite you to chill out in the living room, terrace. Great recommendations for city visits. Visited with my husband and we didn't want to leave. Wonderful and comfortable rooms with epic treats, snacks, and pin-quiet. Wonderful, strong design throughout. The highlight of our Mexico City trip (aside from the food and culture!)

As soon as we walked into Casa Polanco, I knew that it would be one of our all time favorite hotels, and it absolutely was! From the property itself - historic and tastefully modernized, to the lovely common areas (library, dining atrium, patio, terrace), to its location in the best part of Mexico City this hotel checked every box. It was a complete oasis in this busy beautiful city, and literally felt like our own home. The best part however was the staff and service and we left feeling like we had made new friends - in particular Memo, Juan and Benjamin who served us incredible tequilas and mezcals and taught us more about Mexico and Mexico City. We will absolutely be back and there is no better place to stay in Mexico City. Thank you all!

Beautiful experience. The property is well furnished and maintained. The gracious staff bring it all to life. It is a small place, so the atmosphere is like being in someone’s large home. Despite there being just a few guests, the breakfast and dinner menus seemed comprehensive. The meals were all exceptional. The library is an added bonus — relaxing with a nicely stocked bar cart at hand. One evening we were waiting in the library for the rain to stop so we could out, and next thing we knew one of the staff had immersed us in an impromptu tequila tasting experience. Incredible. Once outside, the hotel is located in a very walkable, leafy green neighborhood with scores of nice restaurants and shops. We did a good bit of travel around the city and thought Polanco was conveniently enough located to all the different directions we wanted to go. We look forward to returning for another stay.

Great location, beautiful property…

The concierge kept forgetting to make the bookings we asked them to do.. we asked for restaurant booking, they confirmed the reservation but we found out that they didn’t make it when we went there.. the room smelled food in the afternoons, probably because of its proximity to the kitchen.. the pick up car they arranged from the airport was the oldest and dirtiest car I’ve ever been... they apologised for it when we told them after arrival but these are not acceptable faults for a hotel which charges the same amount as Four Seasons…

Amazing property. Genuine staff. Attention to detail. A house full of personalities. There are just a few rooms so it never feels crowded. Strikes a good balance between guests, people, and place. Super good experience :)

Casa Polanco is beyond exceptional. Not only is the hotel beautiful, inside and out, it is a perfect place to enjoy calm and serenity. Located in Polanco next to Lincoln Park, the location was perfect. As much as we loved the hotel and Polanco, the staff made this small hotel really stand out. Romina and Roberto helmed the front desk with grace, good humor and efficiency. The veranda staff were all fun and talented hosts and we already miss them, Juan, Benji, Guillermo, Raymundo, and Gustavo. Every morning we were spoiled with a options for breakfast, including an incredible menu of fully cooked breakfast items. Cakes and pastries were also available as were cappuccinos and very fine coffee selections. In the afternoon there were snacks along with wine and cheese available. During the day, the hotel also provided an ice cream cart filled with popsicles. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was fully stocked, including the latest Dyson hair dryer. The library area provided a nice area to relax with a liquor cart stocked with some of the best Tequilas and Mezcals for a refreshing beverage of your choice. I could go on and on, but how many different ways can you say perfect and incredible before sounding redundant. We have been traveling for years and have stayed at some really great hotels. Casa Polanco is at or near the top of our list. Steve and Michele

We spent four nights at this stunning and charming hotel in a quiet location right across the park in Polanco. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the location in walking distance to restaurants and museums and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is small and intimate and beautifully designed.
