The shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold, no middle and with 4 kids this was difficult The oven did not work The hoover did not work Host was not very communicative and did not come back on my requests for help

Caravan was equipped with the basics and plenty of outdoor seats.

Issues with plumbing on Saturday which didn't get resolved before we left on Sunday morning.

Clean, well equipped, good location.

Neighbours were a bit noisy next door.

Overall it was very unclean. Advertised as a brand new lodge, it was not brand new. Animal hair embedded into the carpet. Stained carpet. Dirty and unclean shower. Left over rubbish and open crisp in the cupboards. Belongings in the cupboards. Unclean bedding. Loose handles on the pans - dangerous and unsafe to lift. Bags of unclean washing lay about. Hoover full of hairs and liquid - smelt of animal urine. The van smelt disgusting, had to go out and buy air freshener. Was contacting the owner (six times we rang) we received no answer, and still nothing since returning home. Left one toilet roll for four days and two towels. We are very disappointed at the service we have received. We paid a considerable amount to stay here and we did not receive the standard that we had paid for. When leaving, we left the premises much cleaner than when we initially arrived. I would not recommend staying here as our stay was not enjoyable due to the condition of the lodge. However, I must say that we could not fault the staff of the site. They were very accommodating and tried their best to help us, including trying to contact the owner but received no response.
