The Snug Townhouse

Loved this place. Right in the middle of the everything. Had so much fun in Galway and loved that the hotel was right in the middle of everything.

It’s a perfect place to stay, a bit overpriced but it’s what we have. Also if you can’t sleep with noise I don’t think it’s a good place since is basically in the middle of the party 🎶 (I’m not complaining) last but not least the mattress were amazing.

The Snug Townhouse was located in the heart of Galways pedestrian area. So convenient to shopping, pubs, and all the fun. Rory at the front desk was a great help. He checked us in quickly. However, just so you know, parking an suv in the parking garage was nearly impossible. Many back up, pull up repetitions. And it wasn’t just us! We even helped others get up the narrow ramps. The other problem for us was carrying all of our luggage up the stairs. We are 67 and it was tough. The other thing was the room was extremely small. We had to crawl over each other to get in and out of bed. Very difficult Young people may love it! Loved the locale but not a place I’d stay again.

Location amazing. It is loud as the bar is open until 2am across the street but the leave ear plugs in the room for you. Easy to walk to from the bus station. We had the family room so lots of space, the other rooms may be very snug.

Room was cute and cozy. Had everything you could need. On the main street in the latin quarter. Lots of food, drinks, and shops right outside the lobby. Super fun!

The room was snug as you would expect but was cleverly designed so everything you need - hanging space, tea and coffee, storage for luggage - was available. Air conditioning was good especially as our room had no windows. This hotel is ideal for a short stay, right in the centre of town.

Our room was lovely but unfortunately stank of wet dog. It was a Saturday night and super loud as it’s above the pubs although they did provide earplugs. Wouldn’t recommend if you aren’t going out as you won’t sleep well but if you are it’s in a great location

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Galway, it was so cute & cosy, friendly service and great for the solo traveller.

Staff was amazing and very helpful that said drunk locals stood outside and yelled trying to wake guests and banged on doors after bars closed. Lastly, the Back Alleyway that you had to walk through To get to room was filled with overflowing garbage bins.
