Ecohabs Tequendama Parque Tayrona

It was in the national park.

Terrible value for money. Would suggest staying in a much nicer hotel for less money outside of the park. You would only add about 30 minutes onto your day if you visited the park as a day visitor. We had very little view from our room and felt the website photos were misleading. The managements response was to walk to the beach to get views. We could have done this without the vast expense of paying for a very expensive room. The private beach mentioned on the website was not private and the sun loungers filled by passing day trippers. Sadly the food at the restaurant was not good.

We were robbed inside our cabana. Management did nothing to resolve the situation. The manager promised an indemnity that never happened. After that, he disappeared completely and ignored our complaints, offering no follow-up, explanation, or accountability. Also, during more than a week of stay, our ecohab/cabana was never properly cleaned. Towels and bedsheets were not replaced at all. For the price we paid, we expected at least basic cleanliness, safety, and professional customer service. Sadly, none of these were provided. I would strongly discourage future guests from staying here until serious improvements are made in both management and guest security.

It is quite overpriced! Prices in the minibar are outrageous Bring your own water / beers / food from outside the park (officially plastic is prohibited but the hotel itself provides plastic bottles.. and they don’t check in the entrance) I suggest staying outside the park, since the hotel itself is almost at the entrance (add 15 min to your trip and you will save a lot of money)

La comida. Como cena ofrecían solo un bufet (pago) y el servicio era lento. En el desayuno misma situación, servicio muy lento y se quedaron sin café, tardaron media hora en hacer más cantidad y las opciones de comida en el desayuno muy pocas
