Fun place!!!

I like the art and location of the property .

The room was clean and beautiful. They went out of their way to make sure I had a hairdryer and responded back quickly. I will absolutely be staying here again!

I stayed here the night before Grandma's Marathon in 2025. Here's what's not clear on Expedia, and not entirely clear on the Oliver's website: this is a STAFLESS hotel. I figured this out after I arrived at the hotel. I was provided with no information prior to check-in, so had to break open my laptop, log-in to Expedia, call the main number, wait for a call back, and then receive a text with details on how to get into my room. So, I suggest you try to get this information from the hotel before you travel. After that, it was a fairly smooth experience. I stayed in Roger & Oliver Munger - Suite 14. Note that the Oliver website says that it can't guarantee against nighttime noise. Also, there is no bottled water in the room.

This place was amazing! Great boutique hotel! Old building vibes with fantastic art and history throughout! Can walk to coffee, deli, restaurants nearby and super close to walkway to lakeshore path and Canal St. Grabbed a drink at the new lounge. No front desk but instructions for check-in/out clear and timely. Great stay for marathon weekend (or any time)!

Was super confusing for check in because no front desk or staff. If there was some sort of information or instructions when we walked in it would have been helpful. The ONLY complaint we had was what to do when we needed more toilet paper.

The atmosphere and decor were so fun. Perfect walking distance to Canal Park.

I love staying at old, historic properties, and the Oliver Inn fits the bill.
