From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel’s stunning aesthetic and thoughtful design—it truly felt like stepping into a serene retreat. Each morning began with a delightful breakfast featuring vibrant fresh fruit, fragrant tea, toast with delicious homemade jams, and a traditional Sri Lankan spread that was simply unforgettable. Anthony and the chef welcomed us with genuine warmth, making the experience feel deeply personal. Their hospitality extended beyond the dining table—they graciously gave us a tour of the house, sharing fascinating stories and local insights that added a rich layer to our stay. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. The entire property was spotless, and we were pleasantly surprised by how few insects we encountered, especially given the tropical setting. Despite our very late arrival, the team was there to greet us and ensure we settled in smoothly, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a peaceful, intimate, and memorable experience that far exceeded our expectations.

After 10 o’clock the door is locked, what is not comfortable. Poor breakfast and almost no Wi-Fi.

We loved staying at this place. It was central to the places we needed to attend to. Staff was very accomadating. Loved the architecture and the beauty of the place.

The aesthetic and design of the hotel was stunning. We enjoyed the breakfast with super delicious fresh fruit, tea, toast with yummy jams and Sri Lankan style omelette. The staff were friendly and it was so special being in such a small hotel that felt like a home. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean and I was impressed there we weren't many bugs.

We would have liked more water in the room but the host filled up our bottles when we asked.

A fantastic guest house with a fascinating design. We got a tour of the house which was very interesting. Rooms were really cool and staff were friendly and passionate about the house's designer. A great stop off in Colombo.

Enjoy just being in the property. Quiet and comfortable. Almost forgot that I was in the busy city of Colombo. Staff were very kind and accommodating my request to keep my luggage till later in the day as my flight was very late at night.

建物がどの角度から見ても素敵で、インテリアを含めて隅々まで神経が行き届いている感じがしました。もともとある人の家として建てられた建物なので、人間的で居心地の良い親密さがありました。 スタッフさんはとても暖かく、バワについても色々と教えてくださいました。ホテルは清潔で朝ごはんもおいしかったです。
