I loved every thing about this trip starting with the very special hosts who would do any thing we asked above and beyond the apartment 1st class would recommend to everyone

Spotlessly clean! Friendly helpful owners. The view from the Fairfield room is superb, you can see a cross Ambleside and the mountains. First time staying here and it won't be our last.

Ethna and Nick was excellent hosts, The Barnes fell apartment’s was lovely and clean, it was only a few minutes walk into the centre of Ambleside.

Beautiful apartment with a stunning veiw over the fells but only a few minutes walk to the centre of the town.Well equipped, lovely and warm. A lovely touch of fresh flowers.

There was nothing to dislike.

The apartment was gorgeous, exactly what we were looking for. Everything was spotless, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Ethna who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Great location, two mins walk into Ambleside, we had two lovely evening meals out but you could cook in the apartment if you wanted to, it was really well equipped.

The host was excellent. She has kept the house absolutely ready for us to check - in. She was very responsive and helpful to our questions. Her suggestions were very helpful too, from food to hikes to boats, we took all her suggestions and each one of them was useful.

The apartment was lovely with everything that you need for a short stay. Ethna was very helpful and replied quickly to any queries I had. Beautiful views from the apartment and only a 2 minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay again.
