Great location with amazing view over Ambleside and the fells. Comfy bed, lots of space and great shower. Would highly recommend, we’ll be back!

The property was better than we could have imagined. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The greeting we received was great; as I have mobility issues Ethna even helped us with our bags etc. The room was spotless and in many respects the photos we saw prior to booking didn't do the apartment justice. We had everything we could possibly need for a short stay and the location is great with absolute stunning views.

We booked an apartment and a single room for our stay. We liked everything about the accommodation. It is cosy, super convenient and comfortable. Ambleside is pretty with easy to access to scenic hikes and historic attractions. Barnes Feel is only 2-3’ walk into Ambleside town and bus station. The host - Ethna - was super helpful. We would rate her hospitality six stars if we could! She made us feel like home, provided us everything we needed, and allowed us to leave the luggage there after we checked out. Highly recommended!

The host was welcoming and extremely informative about the local area. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. The position of the property was very close to town and the fells for walking. Couldn't have asked for a better experience on our weekend away.

The location was fantastic. So close to everything yet very quiet. The outlook was very pleasant, the room had plenty of natural light and was quite spacious. Our host was very friendly and attentive ensuring we had a great stay.

A beautifully clean and well furnished apartment. The location is stunning with views over the fells, well positioned for a quick stroll down into Ambleside. Ethna was extremely welcoming and provided us with the basics of tea/coffee, milk, washing up liquid and even gorgeous toiletries. We left feeling like old friends.

Everything, Ethna was so helpful and a wonderful host. The room was so comfy, clean and very well presented. Especially the coffee was lovely. After such a long few days going g back to relax in the room was priceless. And I was.never distracted by any other noises.

We enjoyed and loved everything in this apartment and in Ambleside during our two night stay! The host, Ethna, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated with added touches such as fresh flowers. Ethna really added lovely personal touches to make our stay memorable. The view from this apartment is unbeatable and you want to keep looking at the beauty that surrounds this little town. The kitchen is very well equipped, again with extra touches such a jar of fresh milk in the refrigerator. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The private parking spot was perfect. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested.
