"Pleasant place to stay in Llangollen"

8.0

Really convenient for Llangollen, the Dee and getting up into the hills. Cosy, well appointed. Compact but has everything you need. Shame it was too warm during our stay to light the log burner!

No parking directly at the property but the nearest is only about 100m away. Cleaner had forgotten to take previous guest’s dirty towels from bathroom (but had left clean new ones so clearly just a mistake)

The accommodation was absolutely amazing. It was very clean when we arrived, they provided a parking pass for Llangollen and the bathroom was very spacious and modern. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again.

There wasn’t anything to fault about Bridge Hideaway but if I had to say something I would say that they could perhaps provide more wood for the log fire even though they had mentioned there is only enough provided for one fire

"Great property"

Very cosy, clean, good facilities, great location, we enjoyed the log burner, has been done out to a good standard

We are used to a king sized bed, so double was a little small

Location was perfect. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and ideally placed to wander along the river bank into the lovely little town of Llangollen. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

It was ok, nothing special to be honest. It was clean and tidy. But very expensive for what it was.

It was freezing, couldn’t work the radiators and was only left one burnt log. So had to buy 2 sacks of logs and had to get up to a freezing house. Thought it was expensive to what it was to be honest.

"It’s our second family stay here. Lovely place to stay, comfortable clean and lovely hosts"

9.0

We had 2 rooms booked and they very clean with all the things you need. Fresh milk and tea bags were much appreciated after a long journey. Comfy beds too. We even had use of the garden area of the property and one room had a terrace/ garden to itself.( the shippon I think it was ) Easy access into rooms

The only thing to consider is the traffic noise when in the hayloft/ granary. We bought earplugs

"Not enjoyable. It felt miserable."

5.0

Location

On entering the cottage we were severely disappointed. There is a severe lack of daylight downstairs and with the grey and beige colour palette it just felt so drab. However, it’s probably not as bad on dull winter days with the fire lit. The kitchen was lacking in some basic equipment and the pans and trays looked grubby so i wouldn’t use them. The bedroom and bathroom were acceptable.
