Kavya Himalayas

My stay at Kavya was not sponsored in any way by the resort. Upon arriving at Kavya, which is in Nargakot (approximately 1hr 30 min from Kathmandu), I was greeted by the Resort Manager and the head Bulter with a refreshing signature drink in the waiting area of the main building, looking at beautiful mist over the valley that was setting. I arrived at the resort 3 hours before my initial check in time and I was accommodated. Prior to arriving, my meal preferences were ascertained by the resort booking agent, and l appreciated that personal touch to my stay. I was given a brief overview of the resort and then escorted to my suite which was to die for. I have never seen such impeccable decor and finishes, particularly in what some would consider "remote location". The grounds on the way to the suite were well kept and maintained, there is still that "outdoorsy" feeling however with a touch of opulence. The views in each building, room and villa give way to a beautiful landscape overlooking the valley below, and on clear days it's absolutely breathtaking. The resort is immersed in the woods and trees but once you're indoors you are transported to a clean, futuristic but warm space, rich with wood and cotton finishes, the furniture and the colors chosen for the interior are a perfect balance to anyone who enjoys luxury stays. I could go on forever on the interior design and decor, but on the food, the Chef, whom I had the pleasure of meeting was more than pleasant to me, he guided me through the options they had and created a special "Chefs Menu " personally for me which I enjoyed with a delicious wine pairing on my last night at Kavya. The food always tasted fresh; I was pleasantly surprised at how easily my preferences were incorporated to my daily meals. The staff were absolutely amazing, the attention to detail and the respect was exceptional!

I have little to no reservations about the resort! I would only recommend a more diverse range of indoor/onsite resort activities obviously with the notion that the location and weather need to be taken into account. Possibly more lighting on the walkways between the different buildings would be ideal for nighttime walks

We felt very welcomed. .Amazing locatoon, it is a truly special place. The internet connection works great. Beds are very comfortable.
