Kavya Himalayas

I doubt there is anything I can say about how great our stay at Kavya was that’s not already been said in the other reviews. Even though it’s a drive to get to the property which is isolated from the city, that’s what makes it stay-worthy. Go if you want to disconnect from the world for a bit, enjoy nature in its purest form and be surrounded by warm and happy staff. While the food menu options are quite limited, it helps to focus on eating healthy and without wastage. The Villa was spacious and comfortable complete with a private gazebo to enjoy a beverage. The amenities were great and going up and down the stairs in a 3 stores villa was a great workout. The Kavya staff were nice enough to organize a painting session for us outdoors overlooking the Himalayas. We were also able to enjoy a spiritual walk and a meditation session (complimentary) with the Guruji who educated us on different benefits of the botanical surrounding. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to be back for a yoga retreat when the spa village and swimming pool is constructed.

There isn’t a lot to do outside the property unless you buy one of the activities on offer so I would suggest only visit if you want to stay indoors, enjoy nature and the pleasant atmosphere. If you are looking for activities/explore the city, you are better off staying at a more central location where the price for both the hotel and activity would be lesser.

The food was very delicious. The staffs were incredibly kind and really impressed with the fact that they took our feedbacks with a positive attitudes. I would definitely be back with my family again.

We love the place. It is very relaxing and you get to do many activities in the place. Its a perfect place for everyone. Its a place you can relax and engage in different activities. It’s completely a unique and lovely place to be. You also get to attend the yoga class with one of the impressive and highly intellectual yoga guru. My family and myself we really had a great time yoga guru.

There was no spray only toilet paper in villa .. No sufficient hot water in villa .. Very uncomfortable to enter restroom in villa ..

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ We recently had the opportunity to stay at Kavya Resort in Nagarkot, Nepal, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Although the resort had some positive aspects, there were significant issues that overshadowed its potential. First and foremost, one of the major drawbacks was the limited availability of hot water. While we expected a comfortable and relaxing stay, we found that the hot water supply would run out after just an hour of usage. This was highly inconvenient, especially during chilly mornings or after a long day of exploring the area. It significantly impacted my overall comfort and left me dissatisfied. On a more positive note, the location of Kavya Resort was pleasant, offering beautiful views of Nagarkot and its surroundings. The staff members were polite and courteous, always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests. However, these positive aspects alone were not enough to compensate for the other shortcomings I encountered during my stay.
