Blue Iris by Life House

We just came back from spending two days on Nantucket Island. This was a last minute getaway with two friends. The hotel is very cute and well located in a quiet street in the town. The staff at the Blue Iris was amazing. Sarah and Christian were very friendly and professional. There woman that greeted us when we arrived was also great and ready to help with anything we needed. The evening receptionist too was very helpful, we were cold and she provided an additional comforter. We got an upgrade to a two bedroom suite that opened into a beautiful courtyard where we had a delicious breakfast. The toiletries are from Le LaBo. We took three hotel bikes all day and went to Cisco beach. The hotel also provided beach towels. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you!

Amazing 48 hours in ACK. This hotel is a well decorated gem in the perfect location downtown. Stayed in the suite and it was very comfortable for 3 people (although bathroom is in the primary bedroom). The service was absolutely excellent - Sarah and Ali couldn’t have been better hosts. For those familiar with Nantucket, this is a great find. If you are not familiar with Nantucket, remind yourselves most properties are BnBs and this is a great choice - it’s newer than most of them and again you can walk anywhere. Also nice touch with Le Labo amenities. I don’t think the high price tag of the resorts on the island are worth it - def choose this spot for quick weekend trips.

Very quaint -small hotel that has a great location. Pros very clean, great water pressure, self check in and out and great location. Cons VERY small rooms, no frills hotel meaning no onsite bar restaurant, gym, or room service. Christian was great to deal with.

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in 30 years of traveling. I was booked for what was near their opening weekend in June 2022, with a three night stay starting on Sunday night. I got a call on Friday at 2 PM saying that the hotel opening was going to be delayed (they blamed it on weather and construction delays) and that they would try to move me to another hotel but no promises. They first offered another Life House property, but after telling me it was confirmed, I called again and they said that was already booked and put me in the Nantucket Inn, with no discount or compensation. They couldn’t even accommodate a colleague who was also going to stay there, and basically said tough luck. Unbelievable. And then the cherry on top, i called every day to get a refund (nope) or a credit for a stay, and after saying they would give me 2 nights, they stopped responding and I didn’t get anything for them leaving me completely high and dry 48 hours before a stay in an island with limited accommodations. Outrageous and would warn anyone who is looking here to look anywhere else and only stay here as a last resort. Worst customer service ever.

Not good at all. Pictures on website incredibly misleading. Booked and then tried to cancel within the hour of booking and wouldn’t let us. Took huge advantage of people being stuck on the island when ferries were canceled and charged over $800 for the night!!

We were just going to spend one night on the island. We went in October. What a pleasant surprise. A little gem nestled close to downtown. The rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully. Loved the design of the bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again.

We have traveled the US, Canada, Mexico and most of Europe. With out a doubt the was the finest hotel stay. From check-in staff, cleanliness, comfort and walking distance to shopping and sites. 5 stars

Great location downtown. Room was clean and roomy particularly for a Nantucket Inn. Lovely patio in the back where happy hour cocktails served. Very attentive manager.
