The room was well ventilated. Room was well equipped and clean.

Gaining access was a little tricky

Good value, clean room, when I needed assistance staff answered promptly and were helpful.

Had problems getting into the building as the automated door had not been fully closed and locked properly before I tried to access the building, so then it wouldn’t unlock after I put my code in. After 10 minutes of attempting on the phone to staff, I pulled the door towards me and it shut and locked properly, then I was able to access. If I hadn’t figured this out I would not have been able to get in, as thd staff didnt suggest this. Shower riser not fitted properly- loose and wobbly Toilet roll holder not attached- just propped on wall fitting Mould developing in shower, sealant. No place to hang up towels in the bathroom. Very narrow door into bathroom and narrow space for toilet. Although the room is on facing onto a quiet side road, It was too close to the main road to leave the window open at night due to the noise from the main road. It was very hot night, so I put the fan on but had to turn that off due to noise.

The contact had to ring 3 times to get codes for 2 rooms tgen the room access wasnt great it kept doing 2 digits when pressing 1 so took a while to get in. The noise of the road wasnt great. It was really warm so had to ooen windows but traffic noise was not great so ended up closing window and putting fan on but then all you could hear was that

Once in my room it was excellent The room was really clean and tidy. The same for the bathroom. Good location and parking available within the grounds.

Getting in the main door. I rang to speak to someone, which luckily the response was excellent. Tried another code and still didn't work! Luckily someone was coming out the other side! The same for the room. Turned out they'd sent me the wrong room number (2). Again I rang only to be informed it was room 9! The code worked this time on room 9! Once in it I couldn't complain!

There was nothing to like.

The area in which it is situated is not nice. The place was filthy. If their had been someone there to speak to and change our room we would have, but there wasn't ! Our room #10 was appauling, on entering the room we were welcomed with a filthy carpet hair,dirt, dirty scuffed walls, a disgustingly filthy bathroom, a towel was placed over the shower plug hole concealing a stench and filth coming back up the pipes, broken light fittings, broken blind, broken plug sockets, 3 coat hangers one broken, damage to the clothes hanging area, windows frames were filthy, toilet roll holder hanging off We didn't venture around the place, apparently there was a shared kitchen. Our way in/out to the room was via some very steep stairs, which are not suitable to be carrying cases down or for people with limited mobility. The entry key pad was very temperamental ! The bed was a lumpy double with basic bedding (i put my towel on the pillow as i couldn't imagine it was very clean underneath we didn't dare look) There was food left in the room fridge, we assume it was someone elses as i was told there was no type of breakfast on offer. There was a kettle in the room and tea and coffee, a hairdryer which was full of filth/hair and there was an iron and board on the landing. The Hamilton was an ok walk for us and would be for younger people but those with mobility issues would find it a stretch. There is parking for all rooms it can be tight there is a small brick wall you must take care as we saw someone nearly take their wheel arch off on it. We would never come back here or recommend it, to pay nearly £100 for the night was robbery. As we left the property a guy in the carpark asked which room we had just left, we were just about to say stay clear of room 10, when he said "i am the cleaner" well he actually isn't !

When we arrived we couldnt get in as door code didnt work,other guests were having same issues.We had to ring host for help.Once in we didnt know which room was ours n we also wasnt sent room code,we had to ring host again.We finally got in room and it was awful it smelt of weed and it looked like the door had been damaged.The decor was horrid ,the tv didnt work the toilet roll holder was hanging off wall.The pillows was so thin n the bed was awful.We didnt like the 2 rounds of bread left on the side for us sweating in a sandwich bag in a very hot room.It was too far to walk to castle.Def wouldnt stay again.

30min walk into the centre. Flat route so no need for an uber

Shared bathrooms facilities. We were on 3rd floor and had to go all the way down to even put water in the kettle as the kitchen and bathroom was on lower floor too..can't complain, we knew it would be basic. I think a sink in the room to wash your hands or clean your teeth would be helpful if you're on the upper floors. We bought some wipes in the end. It served a purpose and the kitchen was spacious and hardly used.The breakfast is a few items in the fridge, jam, bread,milk and cheese and beans. Better than nothing just don't expect a fry up or proper continental breakfast. I think this maybe student lodgings used off peak but I could be wrong. Bed was comfy. I won't rush back but it did the job. Lower your expectations and all will be well.

The room..the bed was comfortable and liked the idea of a stand fan in the room

Could have done with a nice carpet..and 2 bedside lamps but didn't find anything that I didn't like..there was no hair dryer in the room which was stated that there was a nice carpet and 2 big bedside lamps would take the basic look from the room and make it more comfortable I did think that £81 was too much for that room for 1 night for it's basic Ness but had 2 nice comfortable sitting chairs so a mixture of comfort with basic too..strange combination not thought out too well in the furnishing depth.. didn't think 1 bathroom was enough for all rooms community kitchen nice something different and spacious but overall clean just needs a few finishing touches....0
