Very relaxing time away great host

The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Loved the donkey experience.

The mattress was not comfortable, was a bit lumpy and could do with replacing. One of the kitchen cupboard doors squeaks when you move in the hut.

It is a beautiful place with 3 shepherds huts, and they are fabulous. There are kitchen facilities, a nice shower and terrific views over the fields, but the rescue animals (donkeys, goats, pigs and cats) bring a special vibe! Very peaceful and calm, and far from the maddening crowds nearer the water. There are plenty of interesting places very nearby, and the roads connect everywhere well. The host gave good instructions for getting there and the guy onsite is really nice, friendly and helpful.

The only issue was that it says there is WiFi but there isn't, in the huts anyway. I wouldn't have minded at all, had it not said it was there, on the website. So much day to day planning etc takes place online in situ on holiday nowadays and it was ok using data but it shouldn't say there is (free) WiFi if there isn't.

The setting was wonderful. The view was spectacular, with the added bonus of the animals.

To pick up keys we had to call the site manager 30 seconds away

There was nothing to complain about a perfect weekend break

Beautiful, peaceful location. Spotlessly clean and well maintained accommodation with a private seating area with a fire pit and BBQ. Friendly cats to hang out with. Wonderful hands-on experience meeting the resident donkeys, goats and pigs!
