The location mostly, very close to the beach.

Nothing, just to hava a place to sleep

Everything. We informed about our flight delay, but when we arrived at 8.30pm, only an old man was present, not able to speak English and not able to carry the heavy luggage. Only one sheet to cover the mattress and 2 not very clean woolen covers. The shower was defective. Later arrived a young respectful man., who gave us an extra bed sheet and because of the shower problem gave us an other room. There was noise from the street all the night. No real windows, no real air circulation. As we booked for two nights, we preferred to renounce the 2nd night, and also the breakfast which was proposed only starting 8.30am.In conclusion the presentation of this Hotel in Booking.com is far from the bad reality

It was clean and neat.

The breakfast was quite disappointing when stacked up against all the rave reviews.

A lovely old building which has been well maintained. The staff were very helpful.

No top sheet on the bed, only thin wooly blankets, but this isn’t too unusual for India.
