Great Gatsby Motel Inn

Very nice, clean, great location

Location close to lapland xc ski resort.

We booked the room for 3 people, however the room was prepared for 2, including the linen and towels. The temperature in the room was 12F. The heat was completely shut off. We had to stay in the car for one hour to be able to go inside.

The Great Gatsby had an interesting vibe. Although the rooms are small they’re nicely appointed and well kept. Northville is a gem! Great dining and shopping. The Great Sacandage lake is amazing!

Bed was comfortable, seemed clean.

Broken bed posts, dingy and dark tiny room. No ice. Overpriced for what we got. Noisy heater. Shoddy appearance. Other rooms looked much nicer as I peeked in.

It was very quiet and there was a nice peek a boo view of the lake. The lady who checked us in was very nice.

The beds were rock hard, only 2 pillows on each bed. I killed a cockroach as soon as we got there, found another big bug in the fridge right after that. Under the beds and on top of the shelf in the “kitchen” were extremely dusty. Took 15 minutes for the water to warm up in the shower. It’s an average motel and not worth $430 for 2 nights whatsoever.

Staff is on the premises 24/7. Website says check in is 3-5pm. This is not true, she is there just call the number. I will stay again. Wish it wasn’t so expensive for this area, it is a little pricey for Northville it’s not Saratoga.

Great location across the street from the lake Sacandaga and beach. We were there for a nearby family reunion and the location was perfect. The room was small but clean and well equipped. The motel was very quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again.
