Location was excellent and aesthetically, truly a gorgeous place. We stayed in room 7 and it was a great size for two people with places to sit and read. Bed was pretty comfortable, if anything, too soft. Bed was not squeaky, which is nice with a light sleeper. Building was quiet. The books with the history of the Guild House were a nice touch.

The shower was big but the water pressure and shower head were pretty weak/puny. It's a lovingly updated old building and I suspect that's just the joy of retrofitting.

"Historic Gem"

Wonderful, historic hotel with individualized rooms. Great communication with staff.

While not really a problem for us, it is important to know there are 4 floors and no elevator.
