Casa Quiote Hotel Boutique City Center based - Adults Only

If you are looking for a super quiet, clean, well run and friendly staffed hotel in the middle of el centro without all the fluff, this is your place. I could not have been happier spending the week here. The staff was freindly, knowledgable and helpful booking a safe efficient ride to the airport. Place was absoluelty spotless, with clean, new updated room appointments. Bed was incredibly comfy and most of all, super quiet despite being in the middle of things. Fast wifi, mini-split ac/heat in theand great flatscreen with all the apps in the bedroom with a great walk-in shower always with ample hot water. No restaturant or bar so if that is what you are after may not be your place but plenty of options nearby including right next door. Building appears to have been recently refinished and everything was updated. Wrist band key to enter super secure building and room was an added bonus. Great place, highly recommend.

Honestly not much, I found exactly what I was hoping for.

The property is a beautifully renovated casa, transformed into freshly refurbished contemporary rooms, conveniently located just around the corner from the Zócalo and popular sights. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the cleaning service was excellent. When we asked reception for help arranging a driver to take us to Hierve el Agua, they provided contacts for an English-speaking and reliable driver, with whom we felt very comfortable. We also felt very safe in both the hotel and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this place for travellers looking to stay in downtown Oaxaca.

A bit more storage space in the room would be nice.

Location was great. Central but not in the middle of chaos. It was clean and the cleaning team were great. The bed was comfortable.

The room was different to what was advertised. It was loud and claustrophobic. Since the room doesn’t have a window to the outside, rather than putting an extractor fan they have gone ahead and just left openings to the courtyard which was extremely frustrating. It was constantly light and loud. You could hear absolutely everything that was said in the courtyard. At night they sometimes leave the corridor lights on and when we asked to turn it off the receptionist lied and said they are all connected and he can only turn it off in a couple of hours which meant we had to wait for him to sleep. We had to fill the openings with cushions to help with the noise and light. It was our honeymoon so we didn’t want to make a fuss but if we knew we would have never booked this place.

the location was very close to the city center

the hotel is next to a night club and the noise comes through until 2 AM. the front desk staff didn’t even have a map and were not able to help with any information. the lobby of the hotel was depressing and here were no painting on any walls including in the room, for a $370 per night hotel it was totally inadequate

Exquisite hotel in its minimalism. The beds are phenomenal. Firm with crisp cotton sheets. We stayed in a double suite that had a kitchenette. The bathroom is huge with a lovely walk in shower. Run the water a bit but in awhile steaming hot water comes out. Cannot say enough about this hotel! The day it rained the front desk gave us umbrellas. I give it 200 out of a 100! Quiet, lots of space and super comfy! Zocalo is right around the corner-perfect for Noche de Rabanos!!

A nightmare if you have a car. Parking in the center is very expensive. The room was not as depicted in the photos and it smelled like sewage. We found hair in the bedsheets when we arrived.
