Glendale Hotel

Lovely shower, clean, well-appointed room.

It took getting used to not having a human-staffed front desk, but only a virtual kiosk.

The hotel was nice and I would stay here again. The price was right. They only charge $15 for parking daily compared with the $30-$40 other hotels charge. Just know that when you come here there is "NO" front desk. No people checking you in. Instead they have kiosk that looks sort of like an ATM and there is a live person on the screen and you check in that way. Basically checking in by ZOOM. Kinda different buy kind of cool. And you get a physical hotel room key from the kiosk. The biggest hit is the coffee/hot chocolate machines that they have in the lobby. And it is nice that they have two of them. Pretty much any type of coffee you want they have it as well as a water machine with a few different flavors. No gym, no pool, no fitness room and no breakfast but that's fine. I went to the local 24 hour fitness and worked out. It is also pretty close to the freeway so that is a plus. Maybe due to not having to pay front desk people that is the reason the price is lower. My only complaint was that I was in room "108" which I guess is near the laundry room. Trust me you don't want to stay in this room. You hear the laundry machines all the way until midnight when the person doing the laundry finally goes home. So if you do stay in the room don't plan on sleep till after midnight. That part sucked but overall I enjoyed the hotel. Nice size room, clean, I did not see a single rodent or anything of the sort. I come to Glendale often and I would definitely stay here again just not anywhere near the laundry room. They also have a decent size parking lot. And they do have a vending machine.

Live person at front desk not remote

I've been looking for a room with a spa tub and this place has it...

It wasn't cleaned properly. Also they don't have a real front desk person, it's a kiosk. I don't remember seeing that mentioned anywhere otherwise I wouldn't have book just based on that.

Clean comfortable room.

Had to wait for check-in as guests had difficulty with the Kiosk (no greeting staff). The TV did not connect and open to broadcast stations. Two staff members worked about 1/2 hr. to get the problem resolved and TV to work.

The bed and room size

The bathroom tile breaking and missing grout.. not really attractive. Also, the bathroom exhaust fan is too loud. can really hear anything from outside the bathroom when talking or someone call you to ask questions.
