Helis Suites Bitez

Zwembad was prima en een rustige omgeving. Personeel deed zijn best voor een comfortabele verblijf. Wij mochten bijv. al heel vroeg in de ochtend inchecken terwijl er duidelijk vanaf 14:00u stond, dat was heel fijn na zo’n trip. Accomodatie ziet er op zich prima uit en de intenties van het personeel zijn goed. Ondanks dat de suites vrij krap zijn is het wel leuk en praktisch ingericht. Elk kamer heeft zijn eigen airconditioning wat een pluspunt is. Ook dat er een wasmachine in de suite aanwezig was, was een pluspunt want schone handdoeken waren tegen betaling. Er was ook gratis wifi aanwezig. Leuk terrasje voor je deur en zwembad op een paar stappen afstand.

Omgeving is beetje afgelegen. toen ik er heen reed dachten we even, waar zijn we beland, éénmaal in de accommodatie valt het wel weer mee. Zonder vervoer ben je hier nergens, er zijn geen winkels in de omgeving. Suites zijn klein, kwa hygiëne lopen ze echt achter. De meubels, interieur zijn verouderd. Op de foto’s ziet het er vele malen beter uit. Kleine ingrepen zou het een stuk comfortabeler maken voor de gasten. Wij wilden het melden maar hoorden van andere gasten zelfde (of zelfs ergere) verhalen dus een snelle oplossing zou er in onze ogen niet zijn. Paar punten die die aandacht nodig hebben. - intereur/ sanitair verouderd en niet schoon - locatie - rondom zwembad werd niet goed schoongemaakt - schone handdoeken tegen betaling - kamers schoonmaak tegen betaling en geen schoonmaak spullen om het zelf te kunnen doen. - geen voldoende pannen, borden. Wij hebben het zelf gekocht. - geen goede wasrek om je schone was op te hangen - algemene schoonmaak was slecht. - fornuis (elektrisch) veel te zwak om te koken. (Eitje bakken duurde een half uur). - wij hebben geboekt voor 4 personen maar aan de keuken eiland zijn er maar 2 krukken waardoor we niet met z’n allen tegelijk konden eten. Op de sofa in de woonkamer eten was niet te doen want er was geen tafel. Ook niet praktisch want het is allemaal te krap. - restaurant was in zijn geheel gesloten en de prijzen aan de bar was in mijn ogen veel te hoog voor deze accommodatie. Met kleine ingrepen zou het in onze ogen makkelijk opgelost kunnen worden en maakt het verblijf veel comfortabeler. Voor ons helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar en het bedrag totaal niet waard.

Zwembad

Vieze badkamer Mijn verblijf in uw hotel is helaas ernstig teleurstellend verlopen door meerdere onacceptabele tekortkomingen: • Wij hebben een volledige dag zonder water gezeten, zonder dat u dit vooraf of tijdens ons verblijf aan ons heeft meegedeeld. Er werd ook geen enkele informatie gegeven over wanneer het water weer beschikbaar zou zijn. • De badkamer was ernstig vervuild met schimmel. Toen ik dit meldde, stelde u voor om de badkamer simpelweg te verven, in plaats van de schimmel vooraf grondig te verwijderen. Dit is niet alleen onhygiënisch, maar ook gevaarlijk voor de gezondheid. Een kamer dient vóór aankomst van gasten schoon en veilig te zijn. • Het restaurant en ontbijt, die volgens uw informatie beschikbaar zouden zijn, werden plotseling zonder enige uitleg of alternatief geannuleerd. • Het personeel was duidelijk onvoldoende getraind en kon nauwelijks informatie geven over de faciliteiten of de omgeving. Toen ik het schimmelprobleem meldde, werd er door u geen enkele adequate actie ondernomen. Ik moest zelf contact opnemen met Booking.com om mijn klacht kenbaar te maken. Dit gebrek aan verantwoordelijkheid is voor een hotel onacceptabel.

The property was dirty, had limited staff. Receptionist was very rude and was careless with her job. Stayed here years ago and this stay was nothing compared to it.

The property grounds were visually at first sight very nice. The pool looked fine too.

We booked under the knowledge that staff were able to speak English as well as other languages. However, throughout whole stay even whilst using Google translate (which I fully respect and have no issue with) the staff were unable to understand their own language let alone English . This became extremely difficult. no water was accessible to drink if you stay here. We needed water to drink and they said they can’t provide any. We told them we were more than happy to pay for water as there was not any shops visibly near by and the property is located up hill. However the man at the reception desk simply told us there’s a shop/market and we can go there if we need water. I don’t understand what sort of system this is. How can you not buy water to drink at a hotel. This immediately made me feel disgusted in the management of how this place is run and how they simply don’t care. I understand the property is advertised as luxury suites and therefore have little living area and kitchenette however WHY have a kitchenette with a Hob but not a single plate spoon or fork in sight?are guests expected to bring their own Crockery and cutlery? Luckily we were spoilt in having two whole glasses for drinking out of (but no beverage to drink out of them). So they became part of the furniture. The Lights in the room were not functional and again this was like a game of charades to try to explain to the reception staff therefore we spent our evenings like nocturnals adapting to the darkness as it was easier than trying to ask for simple things from the staff. Also for some reason the only full length mirror is in the living area which is quite inconvenient when trying to get ready in the evening. The room could have easily done without the useless living room and rather extend the bedroom as it was very cramped. We had no toilet paper or clean towels.

The landscape of the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and trees. The size of the apartment was good enough. The air conditioning and ventilation were sufficient. The pool view was amazing. The temperature and cleanliness of the pool were also very good.

However, we found out after arriving that this is not actually a hotel. On Booking.com, it is listed as a 4-star hotel, but there are no hotel services or room service available. Most of the time, there was no one at the reception. The phone in the room didn’t work — it was just for decoration. The hairdryer was broken, and after telling them four times, they finally gave us a new one on the third day. When we asked for room cleaning, the staff told us, “We’re not a hotel.” Then we learned that cleaning requires an extra payment of 100 euros! The bar/café in the garden has a very limited selection of drinks, and the prices were higher than the beachfront restaurants. There was no food or breakfast service available. If you don’t have a car, transportation can be difficult. Overall, it’s an expensive place for what it offers in terms of value for money. Even on the first day, the cleanliness of the room was poor, especially the toilet and bathroom. There was a noticeable damp smell in the rooms.

The staff was amazing, the girl in the reception and the one in the bar and the boys as well were amazing and treated us very nicely ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Its location is very nice 500 meters to Bitez beach and one can find food, entertainment, water sports everything there. Secondly, it’s pool … Very nice. It’s really good for families or couples to stay. One can have a real good experience, sitting in the room’s terrace and the couples can have drinks or whatever they want with a beautiful view of pool. Staff tried their best to accommodate. It’s a real value for money. As it was in pictures in reality it was like that.

Their policy of cleaning. One has to pay extra to get their apartments clean. We thought that they are full service apartment. Secondly, front desk is only available till 10:00 PM. Third if you do not have the car with you it will be difficult for you to roam around Bodrum. So in any case you need to call a cab.

The bed was so comfortable best bed ever.

The services such as restaurant was not open, there was no cleaners so u had to self clean ur room. It was a shame that they charged us full price considering g all of the services listed on their site was no true at all. Felt more like a Airbnb than a hotel… hotel has a lot of potential to be better as it’s a very beautiful place.
