I like the pool but you have to leave running to avoid mosquitoes. I like the view.

I don’t like the front door is always unlocked, it should be secure for everyone inside. It should had a code like all of the bedrooms. At least the front door needs a code. They need to do a better job in maintaining the bushes, flower, trees, grass and the gazebo because there is spiderwebs around the house and it needs to cut the grass. They need watering the flowers and the plants. The plants are dying. Thy need to improve the breakfast because it doesn’t have proteins and variety. I was expecting a better breakfast.

Lack of maintenance on the grounds, weeds growing everywhere, and some areas (ie the deck) needing painting. Our room, while nicely done, was really small, and we had trouble moving around.

The location is excellent, just a few miles from Oakhurst and on the way to Mariposa Grove. Lisa, the host goes to great effort every morning to make a delicious breakfast and is very helpful. Our bedroom was a little small in proportion to the bathroom which was huge.

The breakfast was excellent. Scrambled eggs, fresh cut up fruit, yogurt, toast, French toast, coffee, two kinds of juice. The woman that cooked our breakfast was very kind, and nice. She greeted us in the morning, and was just a wonderful person.

It was perfect!

le chat qui est venu voler.. impossible de manger à l'extérieur.. Le pauvre avait l'air affamé... mais il n'appartient peut-être pas à la maison. critique constructive : préciser si c'est une chambre ou un gîte car on ne savait pas trop si l'on pouvait se servir de la cuisine et pourtant des consignes partout?? 😅

Location is charming and remote, I would say it is representative for Yosemite. If you stay here you can experience the peace and calm of Yosemite. I highly recommend the location. Also the property is clean and tidy, just like in the pictures. Breakfast is homemade by a nice lady and served around 8:30 daily. Not sure if this is always the case, but despite sharing the common spaces with other tourists, experience was a great one, everyone was quiet and respectful. I would stay here again if I would come to Yosemite another time.

Not the property's fault, but I found a scorpion in the bathtub in one of the mornings. So an aspect to keep in mind is that you are in a place that is more isolated, so expect maybe small surprises like that and be careful to not get stung.
