Maple Tree Inn

There is no one when I come, so I cannot get a room. I have to leave to find another hotel

Place is a little rundown and aged. Staff was very nice and did everything possible to make your stay pleasant.

The place was nice and clean, newly remodel. The staff was friendly. Close to restaurants, only issue I had that the office open later, I’m sure to staffing and being new, but there was a sign on the door if you need to call someone before it was open or after hours. No phones in rooms but that ok we all use cell phones these days. maybe placing a card in the room with the office number and after hours number on it, in the rooms would have been helpful.

It was an “OK” place to stop for one night, but I would never stay here again. It was overpriced for what it was ($81.00.) When I laid down in bed, I looked up and saw wires hanging down where the smoke detector was suppose to be. I was too tired to ask for another room. A plus- the room was clean and seemed to have been repainted recently, so it wasn’t all bad. The “grab and go” breakfast was a fruit bar and a packet of oatmeal (I guess you would make it in a coffee cup, since there were no bowls. Plus, no microwave to heat it up.) There was a Kerig type coffee machine with no water, so the desk person gave my husband a bottle of water to fill it. It was just bizarre. We picked this place to get us further down the road, but it wasn’t worth it.

Very run down. Our room had several holes in the walls where things have been removed but not repaired. Seemed clean enough just run down. Lots of smokers near and it wafted in to our room throughout the stay. The couple running it were very friendly and helpful but room not as advertised. Breakfast was not included as advertised unless the oatmeal packets were it and the office area wasn’t open until 9:00 am to even get the coffee provided.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the television did not work

We were there for literally 8 hours so we don't have a lot of feedback about the hotel overall

Had to leave the “door key” in the box for u-haul keys since the office wasn’t open. Hope they find it!

1. Carpet stinks like hell. A tile or wood frame might be a great option. 2. Bathroom door would not shut.

I got here at 3 and couldn’t check in until 4 cause they didn’t have a room clean so I had to wait almost an hour. I get my room and it smells like cat piss had to go buy some air fresheners and a candle to get through the night
