"Yellowstone"

10.0

We highly enjoyed our stay. The grounds and facilities are great. We faced a playground that wasn't ideal, but my kitchen window had a great view. Be prepared for no a/c at all. You have a fan and open windows. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be at first. Only complaint is the uncomfortable beds, pillows, and pull out couch.

"Place needed update"

4.0

The staff was helpful and friendly. The gym room and the clubhouse and the free coffee in the morning was good

The condo we had was old. It was different than the pictures I see which had flooring and newer furniture. I asked the staff and they say some of the condos got remodeled. Unfortunately we got the older one. It was outdated and beds were uncomfortable. The sofa bed sunked in once Sat on. Also no air condition in the hotter months.

"A Yellowstone Vacation"

8.0

This was a vacation taken specifically to go to Yellowstone. Sapphire Resorts is conveniently twenty five miles from the West Yellowstone gate. The condo was refurbished, new appliances, new bathroom fixtures with a walk in shower. The staff was amazingly helpful. There was a laundry located on site. There were coin operated machines, but no bill changer. Luckily, about 7 miles south there is a Bank of Idaho branch where they will be happy to sell you a roll of quarters. If you are not on the first floor, there will be a number of steps to your unit. Be sure to call ahead if the steps are a problem for you. There is a small grocery store very close to the units. The prices are a little high, but considering the location, reasonable. The grocery stores in West Yellowstone seemed to be a bit more expensive. There are good restaurants in West Yellowstone. We recommend Hanks for good food and great service. Go there hungry.

"Out of Season Timeshare Exchange"

6.0

We stayed here the last week of October, which is a bit late in the season. We didn't realize that even most of the restaurants in the area would be closed. The little grocery store at the corner is convenient, but pricey. We had a 1 bedroom unit which was a nice size for us. The bed was comfortable. The unit itself smelled awful! We think it was the carpet, and that they tried to clean it with too much cleaner (so then it was perfumy & a sour odor combined). We had an older unit - even though they were only at about 25% capacity. The bathtub badly needed to be reglazed - the glazing was missing in big spots & there was a chunk out that was rusty. The stove only partially worked - 1 burner only went high (no matter what I turned it to), 1 only on low, 1 didn't come on at all, and the "hot surface" indicator didn't come on. None of our kitchen ware matched. When we were at the laundry room (3 or 4 washers & dryers at $1.00/load), there was another couple there who were talking about how their unit had nice laminate flooring, granite counters, all new pans, dishes, etc. We had a whole different experience. The pool area was nice, with a hot tub & sauna. There are locker rooms with showers. You get your pool towels there. You must wear the wrist bands that they give you to enter. It was nice that it was only about a half hour to Yellowstone. And when we went to Grand Tetons, the drive back wasn't bad.
