"Good but Pricey"

Nice location in Portland, walkable to downtown but not too close to all the hubbub. We had a nice view of the harbor and the cruise ships from our room. Unfortunately, the bed had the annoying plastic cover that makes you sweat throughout the night and the shower leaked all over the bathroom. The staff was very personable. I'm not sure why they charge a $25 fee and then give you a $25 credit on food and drink other than to drum up business for their bar and restaurant.

A fee was charged and could be spent only on items in the hotel. Drinks, breakfast, dinner etc. Fee was not disclosed at booking. The hotel was full, however my reservations were made over 4 months ago. Room selection should have been honored.

No real desire on the part of the staff to resolve issues. Room separation and function. TV function.
