Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown Old Port

Good first time (hotcakes); cold and disappointing the second day: eggs over hard, fine, bacon-fine, home fries cold-no ketchup or hot sauce at table, toast-cold, not buttered, no jelly or other spread at table. Server brought one cup of coffee and never came back to see if I wanted a refill.

See above. Room was very good. Great bed, but too expensive. $400+ per night in October is over priced.

Floors are thin heard people above morning and night. AC kicks on and off very loudly.

I was amazed at the idea there was no room service. Sorry but I need coffee in the morning. My suite had two pods for a Kerig and no other option but to go down to the dining area, order coffee, wait and then take it back up to the room. No option to call from the room even. Yikes. Crazy. I would not go back.

The bed, the decor, the staff

Everything was excellent

Our room at the cambria was big. Living area and bedroom area. We got a harbor view which is mostly nice but you are also looking at the roof of the building in front of you. Bathroom is extra nice, shower was awesome. They have a small terrace area that was nice on a warm October eve. They include a resort fee and then you get to spend $20-$25 at the restaurant as part of it. Restaurant is fine- nothing to write about. The only downside was that our room - 601- was literally a 5 min walk away from the elevators! I’ve never stayed anywhere that weaves around so much. So, if you don’t want a hefty walk or get mad if you left something in the room- ask for one near the elevator!

The property is very clean, friendly staffs and great location.
