Uncomfortable bed, extremely hot room, no air con, terrible fan as an alternative

Cleanliness was not great, the staff in the restaurant (not all of them!) didn’t have the time of day for you!!

No Aircon in bedroom. Bedroom wasn’t very clean with dusty shelves, drawers and bathroom door paint peeling off. Very unorganised in bar area for food especially when sitting outside.

Beautiful property, lovely views . Great parking . Very roomy hotel . Highly recommend. Will definitely be back .

The hotel is well located at the southern edge of the Lake District. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and looked after us extremely well. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Our room was very clean.

There was nothing about the hotel we didn't like

The rooms lacked space to put things on, which didn't help with the massive lamps taking up table top space, no where to make tea and coffee or even put your bag on. ended up boiling kettle on floor, as just no space. . Kettle had rust in the bottom. Rooms disappointing.

Gill the the member was brilliant and all the staff was spot on the only bad thing our room wasn’t clean with fresh bedding on

Food and drinks a bit expensive
